Minimum system requirements: 3060 TI which has 8 gb vram, on minimum settings, game uses 6gb vram as is. They didnt even bother compressing the textures that they take 40gb space. Actually awful, sad to see a valve game humiliated this much.

Could have been new hunt down the freeman if they asked for money.

Bough it off of website back in 2015 or so and played A LOT since then, stopped few years ago and now a friend gifted it to me on steam, game is really addicting and fun to play! Multiplayer makes it even better with other people, would highly suggest.
Dlc is... questionable since it locks some of the stuff I would say that are mid game behind other planets but other than that it is great! I would suggest new players to not add dlc as it might overwhelm newcomers, just play base game singleplayer and see how stuff works for yourself :)

It was really fun seeing how this game improved over the years! I hope to see more of this in the future!

Another banger from vanripper themselves, this time gameplay ACTUALLY gets so hard the further gameplay is, it took me 2 hours to finish the medium difficulty... will take 3-4 hours at least to finish the hard difficulty...
Its a free game! Theres girls kissing eachother on the cheeks... What else should a game provide? Shelter? FOOD? Install it.

I feel like theres several problems not covered by every person that screams "THIS IS WORSE THAN RUNESCAPE" so from a casual MMORPG perspective:

Gaps in world makes the immersion break,

The camera feels wonky even after the qol fixes made recently.

I don't mind the grind but I honestly believe their gameplay loop is so dull that banking every 30 seconds and going back to gather and this being 40% of early game is a bit.... lot.

I dont like the levelling system of increasing xp rates that goes now The next level is double your current xp, the joke isn't "92 is halfway to 99" at that point, instead "98 is halfway to 99" but there's 500 total levels in all skills.

I dont like them releasing the "early release" with a way of monetisation, if you want money for your product, then it's not an early release or beta, you are just using it as an excuse for the shortcomings of your game.

I dont think its a social game. Back to the first problem I mentioned with map and chunk "room" system, I cant see any players on other rooms, lets say theres 300 players in a room, and 8 on other, the second I move to a less populated room, I am alone. and even if I wasnt, community is EXTREMELY locked on about this being the next runescape, everyone is grinding hoarding and pushing in case a new santa hat happens, they will gather 10 of them on different accounts in case they make thousands of dollars out of them.

Content doesnt feel new or I dont think its worth exploring, people opened a wiki instantly that makes me ask, why even discover if everything is known the fastest way to grind.

Chat has the filter of a small town church. everything is blocked, many do not even make any sense. I better off use emojis to communicate...

Theres surely stuff I appreciate like the fast development cycle and fixing stuff extremely hastily, I will still follow the game closely, but I dont think many of those issues can be fixed without core ideals of the game changing.

EDIT: I had this game not recommended, but the way they keep adding FOMO-esque "play the game to receive this time limited item" stuff before even adding actual content for their 900 levels of braindead fishing shows their interest in the project. I had a slithering hope that got stomped on from the way they treated this game.

this is a basic dungeon crawler type game that you grind to get better levels, story is fine, plays good, and as you know this game is made by mojang and xbox themselves, you would expect them to have a cloud save right?

NOPE. Game just doesnt have any kind of cloud support unless you dive in settings and dig it up yourself, I restarted the game for the second time, enabling the backups (something that HAS TO be enabled by default since character grind is the whole point of the game) from settings play for a few weeks, then had to reset the computer... install the game, and boom. Save is there but its a save thats not the point I was at, it rolled back the saves. I dont think this game is being actively developed anymore since its one of several flops of mojang...

You can play and actually enjoy deathmatch or casual because theres no cheaters going rampant but duos or any kind of competitive gamemode is filled with wallhacks to the brim...

Early Access Review
Apperantly this is the first game of the said developer. Heres my opinions
* Game crafting is really basic, I really enjoyed it.
* Basic dungeon crawler, dungeon loads, you kill enemies, items drop, you collect and improve your weaponry.
* Graphics are simple, easy to tell apart where is what. Pretty cute!
Here is my problems with this game:
* Moving feels incomplete, airstrafing isnt a thing which if you jump, you cant change or control anything anymore, should totally be fixed.
* I think theres no animation for attacking while walking? I had to stop in front of the enemies to actually hit them, which ended up with my death several times.
* Maps should load and come from sky instead of below, when they load in from below its easy to jump on the end platform and cheese the whole flow of the said level. They should load from top to bottom.
Sky being default unity sky kinda blows the whole thematic feeling of the game, I feel like making it a night sky and adding torches would look much nicer for them.

Still its a nice and free indie game! Totally a price/performance beast :)

Rather a shorter game than Behemoth's other games, yet I really enjoyed the new style they went for. artistic style and in general game was really fun. My only problems were
1- Weapons feel unbalanced, machine guns mostly have the highest dps weapons, which is weird since it makes other weapons and swords obsolete.
2- Most bosses are really easy to safespot, ending boss if you go one side all the time neither the main beam nor the hands can reach you, making it really easy to beat.
3- I really miss the commentary we had in BattleBlock Theater... This is equally good but I just miss the sh*tfaced jokes all around :p
