The negative reviews are from people who want single-player content only and do not play multiplayer.

The positive reviews are from people who play multiplayer, and, win or lose, have a fantastic time.

This game should not have mixed reviews.

I mean, its not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. It's essentially Chaos with new units and a few new movement patterns. Plus there is different lords and different magic abilities. All in all its a decent DLC.
