I can't really say how this game was released because I didn't really play it at release BUT for how it is now... it is so much fun. I am honestly surprised with how great this game is (at least currently). I am currently level 40 I believe and am kinda addicted right now lol. I can't wait for more updates.

gameplay much improved from Alan Wake, the Mr. Scratch VHS tapes were my favorite part

Gameplay can get really repetitive, I wish some of the cutscenes were longer so we could get a better understanding of the story. But overall the main story is good, and now I just want to play Alan Wake 2 because I really like alan wake as a character

I had high hopes for this game, and I am happy to say that it met my all my hopes! For a game that was supposed to be just DLC, it feels like a full on game, and it is actually now up there for me in terms of the best RGG games. Story is soooo well done, you actually care for the side characters, has a funny little twist that had me laughing. One scene in particular really was something ill remember forever, Kuroda is an talented actor. The final chapter is a lot of fun, and had me so excited for the final fight. I can't wait for Infinite Wealth now and what mission is next for Kiryu!

Also Shishido is one of my new favorites now

A refreshing break from being a Yakuza. Yagami and his gang are really likable, probably some of my favorites friends in any of the RGG series. I would say that the chases and tailing people get really repetitive but thats my only complaint, the story is strong!!

This game is seriously one the best games ive EVER experienced. I fell in love with Majima so hard, his and Kiryus story are soooo good in this game. I only wish we got more playable Majima in the other games, but still, this game is a god send. Music, gameplay, story. It really has it all. This game also made me cry so much, they really cooked with this game. PLEASE PLAY THIS GAME!! IT IS SO WORTH IT!!!! (also i beat this game on gamepass thats why i only have 1.5 hours here)

I had a lot of fun with this game, I enjoyed the story more in this game than in 1. The ending was a little wacky but I feel like thats whats kinda lovable about this series. Also the Majima saga made me cry my eyes out... we need a Majima solo game NOW
