Omori
Omori is a game that after my first playthrough had me sobbing at the end. its depictions of depression, Anxiety, grief for the loss of a loved one, suicide, and trauma are depicted extremely realistic to the point that no other game I've played has come close to reaching. The game is not just an edge fest it is also incredibly wholesome and has a vast array of charming characters to fall in love with. The only critique I can give about Omori is its RPG sections that can get pretty annoying at some times, having to manage levels and make sure you don't enter a boss fight under-leveled. Having to reload a save file grinding EXP can get extremely tiring

Ace Attorney
Ace Attorney is my favorite visual novel game of all time. this game is most likely not for you if you are seeking an action game with a lot going on but for you who loves games with a connected story and fun characters. The thing that keeps the Ace Attorney trilogy from being a 10/10 for me is the fact that some cases and some characters are straight-up awful. and can choke the fun out of playing the game. But for every awful case, there is another amazingly written and fun case waiting. And oh GOD just wait for the soundtrack to kick in, there is nothing more satisfying than finding a contradiction in a witness testimony and objecting to it, and hearing that amazing cornered OST blasting it is extremely satisfying. Even if you do not plan on playing the game I highly suggest taking a listen to the soundtrack

BTD6
Now for something a little more chill BTD6 is one of those games that can be running in the background while you do anything else. I like having it on one monitor while watching a show or something. It has plenty of stuff to grind for but not completely necessary to have fun which makes the game good for both casual players and grinders. The only gripe I have with the game is that the level of microtransactions to unlock heroes can get pretty annoying since there are a lot of them and they will only rise in price the more that gets released. but for 14 USD I think it's a very fun game that gives you a lot of options for stuff to play around with.

Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes
This spot could've gone to any of the Dark Pictures games since whatever game you prefer can depend on your favorite horror genre but I picked House of Darkness cause not only have I had problems with some of the earlier games. One was almost unplayable (I'm looking at you little hope) but not only does House of Ashes run well it's also my personal favorite of all the games released at this time. The characters start not that likeable but the longer you get into the game the better and more fleshed out they become. Me and I ended up reloading so many times. We couldn't bear to lose anyone on the team cause we had grown to like them so much. Oh yeah! I forgot to mention this game is multiplayer and I highly recommend playing it with a friend instead of alone. and even if your friend does not have the money for the game at the moment fear not! when you buy the game you get a free friends pass so only one copy is needed which I find to be a super cool move from the devs. This game's showdown was one of the most intense moments I've had with a friend, one wrong move and everything we worked so hard for in the game could be lost which made it so amazing when we ended the game with 0 characters dying and gotten the best ending we could. in conclusion, this game might not be for everybody but if you have a taste for horror and wanna be scared with a friend I highly recommend checking out this super fun co-op choices have consequences game.
