I loaded up this game with an open mind, ignoring the negative reviews to form my own opinions, but unfortunately, I ending up agreeing with them.

At the time of writing this review, I do not recommend this game, however I cannot complain much as this is free to play.

While the graphics and visuals are beautiful and framerate wise the game ran perfectly smooth for me on my GTX970, it does not make up for the jolty movement and buggy sword fighting.

I love the simple idea of this game that is just fighting enemies in an enclosed, arena type environment however the movement only seems to work every few seconds and I don't know if this is by design. While the movement does not seem to cause motion sickness which is a huge plus for me, the movement still is clunky and leaves much to be desired, with maybe the normal teleport and slidey movements being better options. Another problem is my attacks causing me to move, which combined with the dodgy movement results in not being able to get back to my previous position.

As for the sword fighting, the tracking bugs out some times, moving the arms above my head for a couple of seconds before it fixes itself but maybe its me setting something up wrong despite every other game working fine. The blocking seems to have worked fine most of the time however there has been times where it wouldn't register. A good thing is that hits seem to register quite consistently.

I really hope that these few major issues are fixed, and if they are, I'll try this game again and hopefully have a more positive opinion of this title in the future.

For anyone reading this with SteamVR, pick up this title and give it a go. Its free and my opinions are just that, MY opinions. I'm just some random guy on Steam who brushed through the game for half an hour and your opinions could differ. From your own opinions and lets help give constructive feedback in these reviews to help get this game fixed.

I look forward to this game being fixed and giving this game another shot sometime, where by then I hope that it is more enjoyable.
