They fixed this game and then some.

I got Cyberpunk at release and thought it was mid as ♥♥♥♥. Refunded it shortly after finishing the prologue and was super bummed that CDPR ♥♥♥♥ the bed with what could've been a great game.

Fast forward to November 2023; I re-purchase the game along with Phantom Liberty after promises that the new 2.0 update fixed the game. Let me just say, I'm more than satisfied. This game went from being an abysmal failure to one of my favorite games of all time. The gameplay is addictive and satisfying and the story is gripping and compelling. The voice acting and motion capture of all the character is phenomenal, and the DLC is outstanding.

In short, buy this game. It rules now.

Squad takes the best parts of Arma and Battlefield and makes a game that is consistently engaging while remaining challenging and immersive. Very cool!
