I'll admit, when I first saw this game I didn't think it looked like much. I ended up ignoring it for other games for years. But I gotta say, damn this game is wild. I've always enjoyed my strategy games and this one scratches a weird itch I didn't know I had.

The game has the perfect balance of control/randomness. With a metric f*** ton of customization options for your colony/colonists, you can always style things the way you want them to be. Every play through will feel very different from the last, even if you try to play it the exact same way.

The mods are the biggest part for me! The modding community is always coming out with new content that feel like their own DLC at times. I recommend the vanilla expanded mod series for an extra boost of great content.

If you're in to sim/management games, this is very much worth a try.
