If you read books on the subway every day, and on average you finish a book every three days, that means you can finish about 10 books a month. So how many would that be in 10 years? About 1,200 books. After 40 years, by the time you retire, you'll have read around 5,000 books. That's almost as many books as a whole library.

However, if you look around in the subway, you'll see that most people are holding smartphones to play games or browse social media. Playing games can be fun, but whether you play for 100 hours or 1,000 hours, your knowledge doesn’t increase, your actions don’t change, your work ability doesn’t get sharpened, and your salary doesn’t go up. The only things that increase are your character's experience points in the game and the amount of time and money you've spent.

You see, learning is for growth. When your inner strength matures, your capability will increase. From there, you’ll improve both the quality and quantity of your work. Your life will start to change.
