Superior in every way to Grand Theft Auto V.

Niko Bellic is a top bloke, even if his cousin is the kind of person who would spend his time in the local JobCentre.

Big up my main man Tony Prince, and his associate Luis Lopez.

The Lost and the Damned is crap.

I genuinely think I'd rather be kidnapped by Somalian pirates than have to play this abysmal Fall Guys clone again.

'Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight' ~ 2/10

"Twilight? More like Twi-♥♥♥♥♥!"

---

I remember playing this game when it first came out. I first started playing games from the C&C franchise with Tiberium Wars, and from that day, bought every single one the day it came out. I decided to rebuy Twilight on Steam because I'd since lost the DVD and thought "maybes its not as bad as I remember". Wow, that was incorrect.

The game-play is shoddy, and a complete departure from previous C&C games (change isn't a bad thing, but EA made some pretty horrendous changes to the format). The soundtrack is completely unmemorable, and completely lacking in any memorable tracks! Its just got no spirit.

Now, let's talk about a stable of the C&C franchise; the hammy F.M.V. cut-scenes. Well they are certainly hammy, but you can really tell that literally nobody is enjoying the scripts they've been handed - in fact, I'm shocked Joe Kucan didn't walk off set demanding a better set of lines... which leads me onto a bigger issue. The story!

The story has got to be the most boring, lazy waste of space in the history of the franchise, and that's really saying something, since Generals and Zero Hour were just a generic war thriller. What I will say, is that at least those two games had functional stories; 'Twilight' plops you into GDI command and introduces you to your character's wife who does nothing except cry and get sentimental. Its like the writers clearly want you to care about her, but they give you no reason. You feel absolutely no sympathy for her - I thought it was just my issue cause she's not my type, because I'm as gay as a bloody West End musical! But most people seem to hate her character.

Do I recommend this game? No, not even to the hardcore fans of the franchise. I mean if you're really, genuinely curious then feel free to watch a YouTube play-through because its not worth wasting your hard earned cash.

Currently recording a let's play of this game for my YouTube channel, and its still a brilliant game even in 2019. However there are a few issues - Mainly with the audio settings. Of course, the biggest issue with SA1 is the camera.

As much as i love mindless violence like in GTA but this kind of mindless violence if just bad. It's like being spanked by a prickly catus for so hard and so long that it's either the only way you can get up in the morning or it dosn't have the same effect.
What im trying to get at is if u make a game with mindless violence use GTA as a template (violence in shot bursts/ Make that game open world) cause this just dosn't do anything to make it fun.

At this moment in time im recording this for my youtube and yes my pc is some 2003 sh** feast but hitman absolution still runs smothley with not much lag whatsoever. If your a fan of blood money this is a game for you.
PROS:
- Goregeous Graphics
- Plays Well On Old PC'S
- Amazing Story

CONS:
- Mission's Are (Compared To Blood Money) Linear
- Loading Screen Sometimes Glitches Putting You In An Endless Load But This Can Be Fixed By Re-starting Your Game

Been playing this game since it came out, before I had any idea Steam existed. Its still one of my favourite games. As EA continues to ruin the good name of C&C, we can at least remember this - the last great and original Command and Conquer game we got... before that abomination, Twilight, got created.

Used to play Garry's Mod a great deal when I was younger, but gradually drifted away from it as many of the good servers shut down. The SCP-RP servers were honestly some of the best, but with SCP Secret Lab becoming more and more popular, said old GMod servers got less and less traffic and just died out.

Its still a decent game, but the Golden Age of GMod is most definitely over.
