Fun combat, demo was rather short with just one boss available and completed it within 30 minutes while also trying out the second weapon unlock and changing gear. I hope there is some form of endless difficulty setting for the full game and maybe some more interesting build options since the option I got through my first run was quite low impact with the short runtime I had. I just ended up stacking chance to decay.
It was also a bit difficult to see in advance what ability I had absorbed, especially when grabbing the "get random ability when absorbing", so had to look away from the action to know what ability I had, it made it a bit tricky.

So, I got a couple of hours on this now and maxed out all the available achievements at this time (I just left it on over night).
I understand the game is supposed to be a relaxing little friend by the side of the screen and all that, but like that aside, as an idle game it is pretty darn boring and doesn't even need to be an idle game to achieve the cozy vibes it wish to deliver.

The idle mechanics are so simple (even though they don't explain much, like what does "cutting 16.1" do? is it speed, is it a multiplier?) and insignificant that it takes a good decent while to get all the things you need, to get all the achievements the cheapest and fastest way all you need to do is gamble your way to success since it seem to prioritize items you have not "maxed out". This means that the entire shop mechanic is useless unless you REALLY want an item for looks.
The frog barely does anything different with the upgrades either, just VERY minor speed increases.

I don't even know if there is a max to the levels of the grass growing and frogs stats, but there is no point in figuring that out either. What you get 1 hour into the game is what you get 100 hours into the game.
They might as well have given you the option to switch the frogs settings with sliders and enabled all the garb for free. The sad part is that the idle mechanic just feels like it's there to stop people from refunding it.

Fantastic game.
A multiplayer Hades-like with less focus on the story but more focus on the gameplay.
Great fun and challenging.

Rats!

Needs some performance improvements past the "last stage", but a fun little game.
I would however make sure people who like to 100% a games to make sure to grab the achievement to die on wave 1 early, since if you upgrade your HP it becomes very difficult to actually die on stage 1. I can't seem to turn off those upgrades as of this post.

That they still have not improved the UI or allowed UI mods is baffling to me. This game should have been made to play with a controller.
If they improved the UI and made it more modern, I believe I would play it to this day.

It is however the game where I met my now wife, so I have extreme nostalgia for it.
Very grindy, but extremely cute and fun game.

The game is fun, it's basically lightweight Rimworld but played as a platformer.
I have some bugs with tiles that are invincible right now, not sure how I managed to create them, but basically I dug a hole and after I continued the game the next time, the hole was filled in with tiles I could not dig.
Otherwise it has worked great, would love to have some smarter AI for the guys following you though, like a passive mode so they only run with you and ignore the monsters for example, would help a lot when you gather people from the swamp biome where the (in the beginning invincible) slugs are.
