Underrated gem of a game where you kill, impale, mutilate, burn, blow up mutants and gangs, gory style together with your favorite robot friend.
And you can play as freaking Duke Nukem - hail to the King, baby.

Great concept, not so great execution. There's only so many times I can be jumpscared by the same enemy jumping at me behind a door, watch random bodies being flung around in an attempt to be scary and hearing the same dude laugh in my ear. Did I mention imps love to spawn behind you, like a lot?
On top of that, the BFG edition changed a lot of things, and had I known this before reaching the 20th level, I wouldn't have played this version.
Guns also feel very weak. You have to be one inch away from an enemy's head to 1 hit kill enemies with the super shotgun, for example. But grenades? Grenades have a life of their own, and a lot of times they probably will bounce back right in your face.
A horror DOOM sounded very interesting, but DOOM 3 is more of a comedy than anything. It looks fine, atmosphere is not too shabby.
Terrible at being scary, not too bad atmosphere and not much fun as a shooter, but If anything, DOOM 3 is consistent... in its own way.

Very solid and rewarding platformer, love how it controls. Also birb.

A bit rocky in terms of pacing and progression but the story and characters are top-notch. Gunplay is definitely a lot more fun than the first game, but it's still pretty tough.

It's more DOOM, in a different artsyle and honestly smoother level design... for part of it.

An absurd parody of everyone's favorite Tactical Esponiage Action Game: Metal Gear. The jokes and writing are solid and got a few chuckles out of me, while gameplay is simple it's also not just something tacked on. A very polished experience indeed.

The levels can range between fantastic to horrid, but the gameplay is fun and you can't deny that there's plenty of DOOM to be had.

Despite how this game was recieved, I had extremely fun with the campaign. The gameplay is simple but stupidly addicting.
I love the hook, and hope it stays as part of Master Chief's arsenal. The rest of the equipment was fine but I rarely used the thrusters, if at all.
I spent hours in the open world, though it suffers from being the same biome all over and some snow or desert would've helped to mix things up.
Multiplayer is fun too, just a bit too sweaty at times.

Maxed out, a decade later this is still a very impressive looking and fun game. The only downside really would be the uninteresting characters and cliché dialogue.
