Dude it's really disappointing. Much as I like Proton, I don't want developers to get lazy or "upset" at lower-than-Windows sales numbers, cause that'll always be a given but not an excuse as to not porting, and continuing support for, their games on Linux.

I had a GTX 970 when I first played BL2 on Linux, and it didn't offer much performance over the current AMD GPU I've got now other than having some extra shiny lights and whatnot, like you mentioned, but damn it is that annoying to just leave out some other stuff on another competitor's GPU. I think NVIDIA are just still salty, all these years later, about 2013's Tomb Raider game doing better on AMD GPUs with TressFX or something. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ softheads...

But yeah, lesson learned... no more supporting Aspyr, that's for sure. I don't regret my purchases from Feral Interactive so far, so I'm crossing my fingers and toes that they don't start dropping the ball and ♥♥♥♥ too...

Oh yeah... I read about that at lunch today. I'm livid. You know what also pisses me off? I found time to see what BL2 looks like with an NVidia GPU. It pains me to say that it looks just like the Windows version minus PhysX. All those missing dynamic lights and shadows were hiding on another graphics card... why would any group of people do that? If 2K did that to the Windows version there would be an unruly mob barking at them.

Both 2K and Aspyr can go eat a bag of salted ♥♥♥♥♥.
