My first Persona game ever and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. The writing, while a bit weird, still stands up very well, though the combat seems a bit dated. The writing, story, and characters are more than enough to engage and keep you playing. Overall, Persona 4 is a great game and after 70 hours, I'd very much recommend it.

Snazzy dressed demon girls, challenging puzzles, and kick-ass music. And it's free.

Just get it, it's great.

Undertale is an interesting game that has had an interesting history to say the least. The fanbase is well known and notorious, but that doesn't and shouldn't dampen your experience of the game.

From the beginning, you're thrown into an interesting world that is unique. The game is an RPG in what I consider its "purest" form. You are a kid who has fallen in a hole. You have battles using a very unique and entertaining system that changes with essentially every encounter, and your actions and words can and will effect the world around you and the way the characters in the universe react to you. You grow and advance as a character and can level up various stats and gain items.

However, I wouldn't say that this is the best game ever or the absolutely revoltionary game that people like to tout it as. The game's story is interesting. The characters are fleshed out. The combat is engaging. The soundtrack is fantastic. But something feels lacking. It seems as though this game lacks depth. However, this could ultimately come from what I look for in an RPG, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

Exploration offers rewards in the form of hidden rooms and items. It also rewards exploration by expanding the world with various lore tidbits or character moments. The environments, especially considering the development and budget, look gorgeous and are well done.

Combat encounters are full of character with the soundtrack, enemies, and even the interface changing in unique ways.

It'll make you feel rewarded when you beat bosses using nothing but your own skill, but it can be sat down and beaten in one sitting.

Perhaps that's my largest criticism of the game: It seems a bit shallow. I liked what I got, but I wanted more. I realize that this game didn't have a AAA budget or team, but the concept and execution were done more than well enough to engage me and leave me wanting more when I was done.

Overall, this is a very solid RPG that stands out among the others, but it ultimately feels a tiny bit shallow. If you enjoy RPGs and want to play something that's different and unique, I'd highly recommend it.

Let me start this off by saying that unless you want to end up in a ball on the floor bawling like a little girl, do not power through this in one sitting like I did.

eden* tells the last love story on Earth, with humanity being forced to leave the planet due to the oncoming apocalypse.

It tells a story of love with fleshed out characters, amazing visuals and voice acting, and a wonderful soundtrack to really tug at your heartstrings.

There is little to no fanservice in this game, and very minimal blood, with a focus purely on the story.
Unless you have a heart of stone (or no heart at all) you will cry during several points in this story.
This certainly ranks up there with my top 3 games of the year.
