6 and a half hours later, cars mostly together, I think it's time for a review:

First, I want to start off with my beginning experience, knowing nothing about this game. I didn't look for the wiki help just yet.

I immediately began drinking and dragged the beer to the garage with me, I slowly began to put the engine together, forgetting all the small detail stuff. I have a basic understanding of how a car is put together but I was forgetting stuff like the 'main bearings' and how to put a clutch together.

Anywho, it began to become very late and I went to the kitchen for food. THERE IS NONE. I need to get food. I drove aimlessly for what seemed like 20 minutes until I finally reached a town. The store was closed :( I noticed the pub was still open so I went in to have a few beers and enjoy some pub food. I drive the van back home and went to work again at the engine. I became very tired so to sleep I went. Tomorrow I'll do this right, I'll go back to the store to get food and began work again.

The next morning I arose and grabbed the beer for the road along with the gas can. I noticed my tank was running low. Little did I know, at this time, the engine was actually diesel and not gasoline or petrol if you may.

I drove my van erradically down the gravel roads, eventually sliding off. I was stuck

After what seemed again like 20 minutes, I was able to free the van and continue down the road.

*put put put* the van went. I was empty on fuel. I grabbed the can from the back and opened up the gas tank. "WHY WONT THE GAS GO IN", I exclaimed.

I eventually gave up and began to walk down the gravel road, trying to figure a solution to this problem. After some time I had given up and began to walk towards the lake to find my way. At this point I realized I was probably a good hour from town. So I walked into the lake to try to drown myself. Lo and behold I discovered I could swim. No, I wanted to just end myself from the terrible boredom.

I started a new game and did it right this time. First things first, I went to the store. I came back with a van full of goodies, along with car parts. I'm now a few hours into the game. The car is almost complete. I hope I didn't forget any details. I hope it starts. I need to shower myself and get to bed. I need more groceries and to do some work. I'll have to get back to the car later.

I have to say, this game is pretty realistic in terms of things that can honestly happen. Running out of gas. Getting stuck in the wilderness. Going hungry after working all day on a car. There's a lot more that can be added to this but for being just an Early Access Game, I think this is well worth it.

A few things that I'd like to see added:

Better looking character models and scenery
Better sound effects
More things to do inside the house
Maybe be able to cook food

The scaling feels very right. The time it takes to go to the store seems accurate. You also get a grocery bag and bring it home, put them away. There's some planning involved that you'd normally do in daily life. You can easily forget something from the store that you need at home. You actually have to work to make money and survive and work on your car.

Overall, this is a very cool game. I hope to see this evolve into something even more awesome.
