As stated in this post, he's a very analytical player that is interested in the technical aspects of the mechanics. I've been playing 2v2's with him as my partner a good amount recently and he has taken to knight rapidly. And despite what others might say he is undoubtedly a top MAA and has proved it time and time again.

Lmao Sam is a known cheat & I don't throw that accusation lightly. I used to be in Kila with him & shortly after, befriend him. Eventually, he admitted to me that he does indeed cheat, subtly - to not make it too obvious. Its a combination of altering turncap and something to do with animation frame removal. The change is just enough to trip people up. Considering he bragged about it to me in great degrees of detail, I have no reason to disbelieve him. The dude enjoys exploitation in general and treats it as an art, We would talk quite a bit about info sec/pentesting as we are both majors in Information Systems. He isn't a dummy. Shortly after his admission; I disassociated myself from this loser. Ive recorded some footage of this guys attacks and even Boner, analyzing it, agreed something is off.

You know, its funny that Wizardish thinks he is anything more than a dueler boy who just happens to be on a good team. Everywhere he goes his posse of duelist friends follow, jumping in front of their king hoping he might grace them with a duel or his bath water, yet he has the audacity to claim he is better at teamplay than Skillz. Watching Wizardish scrim can basically be summed up to him choosing a flank and running in like a horse with blinders and 1v1ing whoever gets close. The only reason he does well is because you have an intelligent, team oriented player like Skillz or Mack sitting behind him doing the real heavy lifting, covering his honor duels or the times he monkey switches. They are the real carries of Tempest, not the glorified bastard sword enthusiast known as Wizardish.

i put 2k into this on console and I have to say the PC version is, to my amazement, even a more enjoyable experience. I'm a Blacksmith main and that tactical advantage of being able to transport ballistas for cover fire for my team, or defensively for holding objectives, contributes to a nice variety-support based playstyle.

I've dabbled in the competitive scene and I have to say the community here is overall amazing. My team isn't amazing but we hold on our on the East Coast public servers. The guys I play with are like, the best. I've even met one IRL and he was a really good guy! The other teams we ocassionally scrim against are always tough competition, as this game has a high but fun to reach skill ceiling.
