I liked the first Life is Strange because it really gave off that indie/hippie vibe. idek how to describe it, but it reminds me of how human we all really are, in a very quaint way.

This game captured that same feeling, while having a completely different story and set of characters. It was great.

Incredible game. No glitches in the first hour of gameplay on my 3090/10900k.

This game is more immersive than Dying Light 1, and it feels like it takes place in the same world as The Last of Us. I can't stress how immersive this game is right from the start. You will feel like you're actually living the story vicariously through the main character's eyes.

I can't say too much, since I have only played just over an hour of this, but I will say that this is a great game, and it is more than worthy as a sequel to DL1.

Hands down one of the best games that I have ever played.

This is a game that explores the meaning of life, existence, and singularity.

The gameplay itself is actually very intuitive. I recommend using a gamepad.

The Resident Evil 1 quote, went something like "mountain climbing, beyond the hardships lays accomplishment" comes to mind, ironically. I find this game is best enjoyed on the hardest difficulty. However, if you're in it just for the story, which is incredible, then don't be afraid to play on an easier difficulty. You can always go back and replay it all later.

This game is a MUST HAVE. It is hard to imagine that publishers shut down ANY of Hideo Kojima's proposals. I am certain none of his concepts would truly fail.

The game gives you a persistent feeling of connection, like the opposite of feeling loneliness... even though you are largely alone in the game. It's actually brilliant.

Buy this game and play it.

The game is fine, it's lots of fun. The negative reviews are just from spoiled brats that think the game should be tailored to their specific wants etc.

Sadly, with the entitled all knowing zoomer community and the zeitgeist that is oddly following, people will look for only the negative, and they will find it even if it doesn't exist.

Shamefully, I think the negative reviews are going to kill a game that is great fun.

The ONLY upside I got out of seeing these negative reviews, is that it is giving me an all new perspective on steam reviews. I am going to give other games, games with less "favorable" reviews, a second look from now on.

I also think that any of you, who may have enjoyed this game, should read my words and maybe consider what I am saying. It appears that the masses have terrible judgement and taste. Beware of forming any impression based off of the steams "thumbs up/thumbs down" system. Instead you should read the games tags/description, watch some youtube vids and decide for yourself if you would enjoy the game.

I think for years now I have been missing out on good games because of this steam rating system steering me in some narrow minded, zoomer narrated direction.

Great game, almost 24 hours of playtime and I haven't been bored one moment of it.

Tutorial phase is short and to the point.

It is possible to progress, gather, and craft solo because the devs make sure bots and farmers stay in check.

The quest tracking system is very intuitive and efficient.

A constant feeling of making progress as resources spawn randomly everywhere, meaning you can level logging, mining, and other gathering skills consistently.

I have noticed no real network lag.

The gameplay is great, but the script writing as dog crap. Who the hell writes for these games?

Just do yourself a favor and click through all the dialogue and do NOT read it, it will ruin your immersion. Grown ass men in medieval ages did NOT speak like that. The dialogue is like a bunch of 12 year olds on voice chat in minecraft (except very little voice acting, it is all written mostly).

Very interesting game. When you're greeted by two goofy characters named Adelle and Elvis, you can't help but wonder...

It has a Final Fantasy reminiscent style job/sub job system. You can choose which passive abilities you want from other levelled jobs, which is very cool. The possibilities are endless, and you can play on your own terms.

Once you get past the goofiness of the beginning of the story, it gets a lot deeper, so don't worry... just keep at it and you will soon find yourself immersed in an amazing story with tons of sidequests and grinding. For those of you without much time to play, you will have an option to help you level up, and it's introduced very early in the game so just play for a couple of hours and you will see what I mean. Remember, this game does let you play on your own terms though, so just play it the way you want to.

I definitely recommend this game because of its stellar turn based combat system and polished gameplay.

Just think Final Fantasy, except a little goofier.

Oh, and mow as much grass as possible. You will thank me later.

I enjoyed Kingmaker, but this game takes RPG to the next level.

You know that feeling when you're reading a book, and suddenly you're in the writers world, the universe he or she imagined? This game, even with the voice acting did that for me within the first 10 minutes. It took me from my chair, into a far away land filled with demons and short men with funny hats and raspy voices, it fully integrated me into the story. Complete immersion, something I haven't really felt since the old days of Neverwinter Nights. Then my pizza showed up and I had to go watch TV and eat.


Enjoy the game, it's hard not to.

Feels like a really fun game. How could they leave out voice chat? How can you leave voice chat out of a co-op game in 2021?

This game ran fine on my RTX 3090 and i9 10900k, with max settings and 4k resoultion and fps capped at 60. Fun game, a bit of a learning curve if you aren't familiar with the genre, but I picked up fairly quickly as I played these types when I was younger.
