Optimization is garbage, gameplay is peak, Ark OST is some final fantasy type of sht and its cinema.

Either have a 4080 like me where you can play the game with some stutters but decent fps or wait till capcom fixes the damn game

Game is absolutely flawed but story is so good that I had to finish it.
You have to play chapter 6-7-8 3 times to get the true ending
8 Chapters in total, either you finish the game at ending 1 and leave with loose ends or you suffer like me and go through ending 2 and 3 which is 100% bad endings. Ending 1 is also a bad end but debatable. True ending is absolute peak cinema with no loose ends and everything is tied though you might miss some details since all the routes matter.

Combat was mid but serviceable
Music is honestly top tier, so far Furyu games hasn't disappointed me with any of their music though I only played Monark and Crystar but both are peak.
Story for ending 1 is 6/10, ending 2 is 3/10, ending 3 is absolutely miserable and gets a 1/10 from me plus the road to play ending 3 was filled with peak sadness and annoyance. Ending 4 is Giga Cinema though you could say it is also sad and contradicts ending 1.

I finished ending 1 at 13 hours but clocked in at 21 hours for all 4 endings.
The one annoying thing that pissed me off was Rei Hataba (Our MC) going through an annoying phase around chapter 3-5 but then she got better, honestly each route is for each character where the true ending is Rei's chapter.

Nanana is also best girl honestly, girl made a depressing game into slightly less depressing game

10/10 game atlus added demo after I finished the game this week lmao, the timing is insane

Best atlus game, relationships in this game is way better than P3R with P5R coming behind close but this is absolute cinema. Adachi is also the goat.
P4G > P3R > P5R but p5r is still in my top 15 JRPG so all persona games are worth playing, its just that P4G has the best party dynamics.

The most mid dlc ever but atleast its just 10$

Proper review now but I'll make it short

This is my favorite game of all time, before this it was Tales of Berseria at No.1 followed by FF9
FF16 hits all the spot that I love, linear / good story / combat / epic moments / OST
This game has it all.

Clocked in at 55 hours and finished it in 4 days + a few hours on release day since the game came out at 21:00 for me and it took an hour to download.

Rising tide DLC is good but leviathan is probably the hardest boss in the game
Echoes of the Fallen Imo is garbage but at least the music is amazing

Find the Flame is 10/10 Peak music and nothing will top it

This game is my absolute 10/10 and it won't get beaten unless we have a game with Soken/Hiroyuki Sawano doing the OST and it has insane boss fights with a decent story that isn't just highschool kids again like every JRPG in existence

Estelle is the worst fkin heroine ever, girl is legit the only gripe I have with this game.
The lack of QoL updates like no mini map, no fast traveling, no quest log, no direction guides, no chat history I can deal with but estelle is absolutely annoying even though her role is a "sheltered princess", sht is too far.
Meanwhile everyone else in the game is amazing especially the lead Yuri lowell but everything in this story revolves around estelle to the point of it being dogsht.

Edit. Now that I finished act 2 and on to the final act after that scene with one of the other annoying characters Sodia this game is even lower in the rankings.
I was glad that estelle was gone for act 2 mostly and now that shes back game dogsht again

Probably one of the worst JRPGS for me of all time

Finished the game and honestly the ending was kinda decent for a tales game but nothing too special, game isn't anywhere near a must play but atleast the party members are comfy and estelle is still terrible from start to finish but atleast she doesnt get too much screen time in Act 2 and Act 3.

Final verdict is probably something a long a 4/10 game
