I remember a game that started with a lone rich explorer. She was happy and a wanderer had joined me, they fell in love and I was able to have them create a nice little home with turrets and farms. Along came a woman in desperate need of help from the pirates that were chasing her and she was saved by my happy couple! However things started to go south, the lone explorer was noticing her relationship was getting distant and her husband was spending more time mining with the newcomer. Fights broke out and the newcomer ended up being beaten to death. The husband went into an alcoholic rage and beat his wife, then that's when the pirates attacked and destroyed the farms and home along with the husband, he was shot to death while his unable to walk wife had to watch as she was being carried away by the pirates.

The home was left abandoned with the question, do you want to continue?

As I waited days, and days, and days.

A wanderer has joined your colony! And it all started again, until nuclear winter hit and then I rage quit because he died immediately.

Moral of the story this game will suck the life out of you, and I love it.
