So Helldivers 2 is by far my most favorite co-op game that I've ever played. Arrowhead did an absolutely fantastic job making this masterwork piece of art. However, duty calls and I must not allow Managed Democracy to be threatened by the likes of a corporation. Sony. I am in the band of "I don't really care if it requires a PSN account" simply because the game is absolutely amazing and worth the effort and potential data breach. However, I cannot sit by idle while potentially millions of Helldivers are taken from service and forced to retire simply because PSN is region locked. Again, Arrowhead is not at fault. The CEO is not at fault. Arrowhead and by association the community staff have poured their hearts and their souls into making an absolutely amazing experience. Are there bugs? Sure. Are there issues with the game still? Of course. Arrowhead cares though. They seek to provide fixes and more content even keeping the buy once and own it model. Sony however, is a cruel, heartless overlord that simply wants to fluff their numbers. Back off Sony or at least come to a compromise where PSN is optional. Not required.

EDIT; Sony has surrendered to the will of Managed Democracy! I'm doing my part to aid our Major Order and for what I feel is right. Switching this to Recommended is the easiest decision of my life and I stand by Arrowhead for their steadfast resolve in standing up for what is right. Once again, best game ever made and I look forward to serving with you all again!

EDIT 2; Flipping back to Negative with SNOY's decision to add more countries to the ban list. We dive together or we don't dive at all.

EDIT 3; Region lock has been disabled for all but 7 countries now. As per my statement, we dive together or we don't dive at all. I'm proud to say, that with the removal of the region lock (for the most part), I can one again say, that this game is very much worth your time and will easily be one of if not the best game you've ever played.

If you've ever played Remnant: From the Ashes, this game is a complete upgrade to an already amazing title. If you didn't, this game being described as "Gun Souls" doesn't do it enough justice. The building is diverse, you have a LOT of options available, and from the 65 hours I've played at this time, every single option is viable. You don't really even need an "end game build" until you start pushing apocalypse difficulty. I'm on my third play through of the campaign and I'm STILL finding things I didn't know existed. Overall, 10/10 game, and my Game of the Year choice.

So; this is my second account due to the nature of the game and RNG that are Gacha games. Having played ~400 hours in total, I believe I have an informed enough opinion and can see the general direction of the game from this point having played from day 1. Flame me if you want, or tell me to post it on Reddit. I don't care, the Reddit Mods remove any posts that even remotely criticize the game.

Bugs;
Lots. And Lots. Of Bugs. Very few fixes and more time spent monetizing things. Plenty of other reviews have gone over a better curated list, but the most recent being bugged Suppressor levels.

Roles;
This game features Tank, DPS and Healing roles as a large focal point for content. Due to the nature of the game and how power is, Tank and Healers are completely irrelevant. Whales can carry and solo any content, which is nice from a F2P stand point, but really, REALLY bad for everything else. The fact that there's built in DPS meters to show you exactly how far behind you are from paid players is massively discouraging. Another problem is being a Tank or Healer (if you choose to do those roles or you get REALLY unlucky pulling) is the damage. DPS characters do amazing values, where as tanks and healers are just shafted, taking ages to kill anything even on open world at your level.

Gear;
Gear is basically the same as Artifacts from Genshin. If you don't know what that is, then allow me to explain. Each piece of gear can roll 4 lines from a curated list. Completely random, it means gear that is actually good for your role is hard to come by. Not including the rarity value of gear from end-game content. It's so low that it's absurd. Sure, there's a pity to get a piece, but when you use a limited resource for a sub 2% chance to drop a piece, it's not well designed.

Monetization;
The game started a bit monetized as all Gacha does, and considering that other games like this have paid options, the game is only becoming paid options. "Events" either cater to whales or spending money while the rest of the game is in shambles. The care for F2P options is becoming less and less.

Events;
These events... they offer amazing rewards. Let's face it, they're great. The problems being, unless you're a whale or you can manage to get on within the specific window that events run at (which is typically a few hours a day, ONCE a day) you won't be able to fill out or even participate. Outfits and cosmetics are tied to these events, making F2P options non-existent.

Optional Game Modes;
Much like the events with their limited time windows, Break from Destiny (Battle Royale) and PvP are tied to a limited time window to play them. They seemed to have dropped these additional game modes to keep game play fresh, but were immediately forgotten about. Really bad Lag and bugs make these game modes unplayable.

Relics;
Oh boy. These things are... REALLY Good actually. I can't honestly say anything bad about them. Enjoy the click bait because I really enjoy how relics work in this game and how they function.

RNG;
So! Earlier I mentioned Roles. This is completely random as for what roles you can get. Your pulls from Gacha dictate what you can run reasonably, and if you have terrible luck, enjoy the tank or healer life. If there was a mild way to sway RNG to go for a specific role or weapon, it'd be fine. But since most of the weapons are tied to limited banners and the basic weapons are pretty spread as for roles, you can't be sure what you get.

All in all, if you enjoy this game, you do you. Keep playing and keep enjoying what the game has to offer, because the combat and exploration are actually enjoyable. Everything else is just... bad. There's a reason we get no new players. And it's not because the game doesn't have advertisements or good graphics.

TL;DR: Go play Warzone. It's better in every aspect and it isn't a $60 game. Or BF4.

Alright... where to begin. So the best way to put this is that it is NOT a Battlefield game. There are so many things wrong with this game from map design to sound to even the basics of vehicles. Where are the game modes? Where are all of the weapon options? Not here.

So, first off, there's only two core game modes. Conquest Large and a really bad rendition of Rush if Rush were control both of the conquest zones at the same time to move forward.

The maps are bland, far too large and empty. The environments feel just... empty. The verticality is good for the maps, but there gets to a point where there's too much verticality and this is clearly a problem.

The Operators. Oh boy, here we go. What the actual darn were y'all thinking on development? The classes we know and love are gone, which could have been interesting if we didn't get these garbage card board cut outs of "classes". One gadget? Alright, I could see it; but most of the Operators have literally ZERO impact in game play. You either run around with a riot shield or you run the grappling hook. The other Operators are cute, but literally do next to nothing.

The weapons. The sound design is mediocre at best and the selection for weapons is a joke. Not to mention if you didn't jump in on the big boi version of the preorder, you are at an extreme disadvantage just trying to get a foot hold. You don't even get smoke grenades! You have to unlock them by playing and progressing ranks. Which would take gods know how long. Some weapons are clearly broken like the vector and some are just down right unusable such as the LMG's.

Vehicles are absolutely bonk. When I first got behind the wheel of a condor, I thought it was going to be awesome; the toggle modes are cool and it's definitly unique. The problem? Very few vehicles have machine guns and for some reason that I will never understand, those MG's were replaced with spam of rapid fire grenade launchers. NO. This is not fun, this is not enjoyable. Stop. With how oppressive vehicles are too; you'd think the engineer options would be good, right? Wrong. You can hack a tank with one of the operators, but it does next to nothing to hinder the operation of the tank. Then in classic BF style, it can take upwards of 9 rockets to down one tank depending on angle and location, but you only get 3. Do you get to bring mines or a repair tool to assist with this? No. You get one tool. And only one.

Hazard zone is a joke. If you want that from an FPS, go play any of the actual Extraction Royale games. You get nothing from playing it aside from a currency to play it again with slightly better options. The AI is more brain dead than a zombie, and the just redeployment spam is rediculous.

The ONLY good thing about 2042 is the fact that you can just choose not to play 2042. And play any number of the actually good, other battlefields. Which is sad that the highlighting experience of this game is a single game mode where you play literally anything BUT 2042.

This is a complete dumpster fire and I don't entirely know if I myself will be coming back to the Battlefield franchise. Which is a shame considering that I've been here since BFBC2 and have been a huge fan of the series since.

Back in the day, I played this game religiously. Every character was maxed in full epic gear, maxed out; necklaces, anklets-- the wazoo. I'm so happy it's back again and all of the super predatory ways things like the Gacha were changed. Everything is actually affordable (60 seal breakers costing $20 USD instead of $100) and so much more. 4 Characters are only available at the time of this review, but with how much effort that was put in to the rebirth of this game, I'm extremely excited to see where it goes from here and I hope we even get new content.

This game is absolutely fantastic; from the music to the art and the very macabre styled enemies and bosses. Now, this game is a competitive/co-op game with a few game modes that all feel great. Even the initial equipment is all really solid. Every game you play, you can roll a new set of hunters so even if you lose your dude, there's no weird timers or anything like that to wait to play again. The legendary system is a fantastic addition and every time you prestige, you get free premium skins. You can also just buy the skins you want from just playing the game. Every hunt rewards you with Blood Bonds (which is the premium currency) so you can just play to unlock stuff. Also, the skin costs aren't an outrageous amount such as Valorant which costs 87 dollars for one skin bundle at the time of this review. I personally have bought all of the DLC and will continue to support the developers as they listen to feed back and constantly work on the game providing balancing changes and new content. 8/8 i dont debate m8.

Space. Ninja. Mercenaries. This game is all of that. And more. I've played the week after BETA and have been on and off since. There's just so many awesome and beautiful things about this game to experience. From Open space flight and combat, to roaming a huge open world. There's so much to do. Now most of the game is in a 4-player co-op which is instance based on the mission you're going to. There is quite a bit of a grind and the whole "Limited Warframes/Weapons" part is kind of annoying, but if you can get past that, there's always something to go for.
