This game preys on those who have bad addictions. I have already dropped about $100 into this game and all it did was help me jump a tier and that was it. The premium vehicles are overpriced, and all the upgrades that'll help you grind costs about $20 each (talismans) and on top of that some of the ballistics are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, you'll shoot armor piercing rounds at certain vehicles and it'll bounce right off even after doing a ballistic analysis and finding out "hey I can pen right here" nope, the game's algorithm will say ♥♥♥♥ you and leave you sitting there doing a 20 second reload whilst your guy you just shot at mean mugs you for trying some stupid ♥♥♥♥. And then on top of that, God Forbid, you get into BR 4.4 - 5.5 range, you'll get thrown into BR 6.3s and 6.7s, and 7.8s. Because why? ♥♥♥♥ you, that's why. This game will find any reason to slow your progression, piss you off so you buy more golden eagles to purchase your way up the tech tree. And oh lord am I a victim to this.

A good game however very complicated among new players. There is a lot to digest however, after a while you'll get used to it. Took me about 2-3 days with video guides and experience.

Pretty good game so far, great and rich story, however there's definitely some performance issues with the game. Regarding optimization, it sometimes tanks in FPS whenever going into a cut-scene, however I haven't personally ran into any issues (I have a 4070 Ti Super, friends experiencing issues have a 30 series however they're still able to run the game at a great set of statistics and benchmark and at a great quality). You may want to make sure drivers are up to date whenever getting ready to launch the game. There is a disgustingly long ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shaders compiler at the very start of the game. There is options to remove this from the initial launch of the game but it is recommended you don't as it does boost the capabilities of registering these shaders and preventing a crash or anomalies of your own. (I did this, saw some crazy ♥♥♥♥ stalker).

Great game, good story. Just bad performance issues.
They have mods to enhance the experience on Nexusmods but highly recommend you atleast give the vanilla game a good run before you go ahead and "enhance" the experience. Good Hunting Stalker!

Pretty good game

Good gameplay. However, be prepared to get your ass kicked by AI, even if you're playing with friends. Played Battle of the Bulge Skirmish with 3 other players. It took 3-4 hours to defeat one AI on Normal. One of our players left to spend time with family instead because it hit midnight.
We pushed up with Infantry Squads, varying between Riflemen, Medics, AT Teams, and Automatic Riflemen to fill in the gaps. The Wehrmacht utilized Shock Troops, Paks, Flak Guns, and WirbelWinds (AA-Tanks) as well as combining it with the mix of Nebels (rocket artillery). Least to say, our infantry got shredded as well as our recon and light skinned vehicles, not many survived and didn't even make it past the first check point on the Western Flank. That infantry point was held down as well, reinforced with platoon + sized elements as well as 2-3 flak guns with interlocking fields of fire and on top of that multiple MG-34s and MG-42s holding what was left to be filled in. The only way we were able to breach their defenses was with constant bombardment, tanks rolling in with infantry reinforcing (company sized+) and 3-inch gun carriages picking up the slack by targeting medium-heavy tanks (Panthers and King Tigers) and infantry emplacements. The AI did not give up without a fight either, it would keep spamming Jagdpanthers and Stugs and spread out infantry in the rear lines to continuously harass our reserve forces moving up to support the main efforts. And even after victory, we decided to erase the German presence on the map, yet they continued to fight back with resistance. The match total was 4 hours and 16 minutes.

Totally worth it, solid gameplay.

Might need some mods to tweak AI behavior as well as ballistics and accuracy.

Edit: Forgot to mention how we also got violated by the German's constant spam of Panthers, Panzers, and Pumas that would decimate all of our infantrymen pushing the points. Our JFOs and FOs would call in arty and get immediately targetted and without hesitation if you were trying to repair your vehicle, the AI would send a squad to hunt you down and put you into the dirt without question. And then leave, adding insult to injury. AI is a bully. AI will also rush you if you have squads pushed up into a defensive posture, and throw a barrage of grenades in sequence. Your troops won't last if your held up in trenches or fox holes facing Jaegers or Panzergrenadiers. ♥♥♥♥ punching simulator for sure.

Servers won't populate.
Close game and reopen it.
Try again.
Join a game.
Go into a firefight for 3 seconds, get capped in head. Everything goes black.
Respawn after waiting for 30 seconds on Main Base.
Get capped by enemy recon.
Great Game.
