If you're looking strictly for a card game experience this ain't it, as the game plays more like The Stanley Undertale: Escape From Yu-Gi-Oh!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in DREDGE as I spent the days catching fish and the nights being chased around by horrors beyond my comprehension. It got me hooked from start to finish and ended just as it started getting boring.

The core fishing mini-game, despite being repetitive, remained relatively diverse and somehow did not get annoying. The fishing nets were a nice way to generate passive income, and maybe the crab pods too, but I didn't bother with the latter - I'm here to fish not to crab.
The upgrade system delivered a satisfying progression path and only fell off near the end where I had so much resources I started throwing everything overboard.
The story was good, but you most likely aren't here for that and a fishing game probably isn't the best way to provide a deep and enthralling narrative experience.

That being said, there's little bad I can say about DREDGE as it was a great experience overall.

The game is infested with bots which are crippling the economy.
Players who engage in RMT get a 3 day ban at most, while innocent players are routinely flagged as bots and permanently banned. Some of the false-positive bans are overturned, however, your Steam profile will remain with a permanent ban record.

Despite having more than a hundred hours in Noita I terribly regret purchasing it, and I sincerely detested every second I spent playing it from the bottom of my heart.

I will, however, most likely spend a hundred more hours in it, and I will surely hate them as much as I did the first hundred.
