On the warframe review page, you will find 2 kinds of reviewers.

Ones who have ~35 hours in the game and ones that have 350+
I am one of the latter, while it may seem that the playtime gap between reviews is some form of "skill issue", it is and it isn't.
The tremendous polarization of the reviews, most being either 30 hours or 300+ hours in, is very telling of warframe's issues.

While it has a better earlygame than destiny 2, ever since destiny 2 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ deleted it's early game, the new player onboarding is still a MAJOR issue and turnoff for new players. It is the kind of game that "gets good 100 hours in".

The gameplay mechanics such as movement and shooting are unparalelled in any other 3rd person shooter, but you will have no idea what you are doing for the first 30-50 hours. Because of this, i recommend this game, but only with a friend or the pre-supposed knowledge to guide you, that you will be lost for the first little bit and will need community help to figure it out, be it youtube or wiki or vet players.

For some, any game that "gets good 100 hours in" is not something they will ever consider playing since they don't have 100 hours to spend. But to those that very much do have that 50-60 hours to learn the basics and complete what amounts to a 50 hour tutorial, i have this to say.

The buildcrafting and sheer amount of ♥♥♥♥ you can experience and experiment with (56 unique characters, 675 unique weapons, etc.), alongside a stellar lovecraftian space ninja story, is worth it.
There is a reason why negative reviews have 30 hours played, but there is also a reason why mine has 1655.

The negatives :

-The game has a lot of small bugs, a lot of minor gripes and slight inconveniences
-Audio is perfect directionally, but has the same issue with verticality as tarkov.


The positives :

-This is an extraction shooter that released with proper anti-cheat. If this doesn't sell it already, i don't know what can.
-The devs literally talk on discord and put up with my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ feedback.
-The core gameplay is pretty awesome and a good way to "relax" for any extraction shooter player. Anyone who hasn't played tarkov will still find it really hard.
-The combat, movement and looting are quite satisfying.

Verdict:
For any extraction shooter veteran or player looking to try out the genre,
100% worth current base price, 300% worth on sale.

Give me more stash space tho GAWD DAMNE
