Story may not be the best, and people sure do express their concerns about how the game could've been, but it unarguably has the best gameplay in the series.

Changing my once negative review back to a positive + recommend, last year Overkill really unintentionally threw this game into the gutter, thinking they were doing the right thing. They were wrong, horribly, and felt it from the community.
This year however, you can tell they're actually trying to make new content and not just give us 12 ugly masks that nobody asked for and a hideous barely noticeable jump animation.

This year's crimefest, known this year as Hoxtons Housewarming Party, really resparked my love for this game. They, for the most part, did a really good job with the daily updates, (fix the ♥♥♥♥♥ new shotgun) and I'm really glad to see Overkill actively try to improve from the mistakes they've made.
Really looking forward to more nice things.
