Game is real solid, particularly with the expansions that add more alternate history options. Game takes awhile to learn, however, as most Paradox games do.

The best space empire game I have ever played.

Recently played Sins of a Solar Empire again, and while that is a slightly different genre, Stellaris feels like an upgrade in every way.

Extremely fun game. The stages are well designed and offer extra challenges for those who want them. The voice overs are highly ammusing. If you like platformers, you will probably like this game.
