A guilty pleasure

This manages to stand next to Mass Effect 3 for the worst ending in a "trilogy" series. Story-wise it's horribly written and leaves more questions than answers about Pointman, Fettel, and especially Alma. A sloppy mess.

Now the GAME is fun. Although it has "we want call of duty's audience" written all over with with brown&bloom, ranking up, and crosshair hit confirmation... it still manages to be even more fast-paced than the first two without deviating from its roots. The campaign is best designed for co-op, so grab a buddy (or me) and have a blast.

You can play one of two characters: Pointman and Fettel. Pointman plays as every FEAR game before, carrying an armory on his back and having bullet-time at will. Fettel is REALLY fun playing as a blood mage ghost sort of deal. You have precise shotgun blood-blasts, an enemy hold, a channeled shield for Pointman, and you can posess the bodies of enemies to fight ala-pointman style.

A surprisingly fun game has appeared in the basement!

Quite possibly the most underrated game of the year, this gem is filled with fine-tuned and "always fun" values that I never see anymore. It combines the best elements of effecient defense strategies with TPS/beat-em-up gameplay. The variety in different ways you can play each level gives it immense replay value. Only downside is that the first playthrough might be a bit easy for experienced players of either genre. Fortunately, there's a Hard Mode included that can appeal to you.

Ever played tower defense games, and wished you were on the field to make up for the terrible micro happening before your eyes? This can put your abilities to the test if you use tactics that empower your own character instead of countless traps and guardians.

Look at all this modern screenplay, I'll bet it plays the same as the crap before. NOPE

Well apparently this is supposed to be one of the best games ever. I don't know, I never really played it. I don't know anyone else who has either. It's probably got some super guns or hot babes or some ♥♥♥♥ like that. Maybe it's even got zombies in it. But I wouldn't know...

A classic and one of my favorite online shooters of all time. I sense much rage and glory in this one.

Starts slow and boring, but picks up to a well driven game.

Yes. You can do everything like what you've seen in those videos. You just need a little- no, a lot of imagination. And free time.
