Early Access Review
Normally, I don't really get on to the Early Access hype, and try to stay away from them in general. I've learned the hard way that buying a game before it's done can be a really bad experience. However, Kenshi is definitly an exception to that rule.

Taking up Kenshi can be a grueling task. The game is brutal, but not totally unfair. It's difficult to get off your feet, but not impossible. The basebuilding aspect of the game is what drew me in, and it's what keeps bringing me back every few months.

The team behind the game releases new patches fairly consistantly, and they only break the game completely like one out of every ten, so that's good.

The world is interesting, honestly I love the game's design and world building. The graphics could be considered dated, but this is an indie game. I guess graphics aren't my #1 concern, considering I play games like Dwarf Fortress and Rimworld.

In short, I would consider a $20 price tag for this game well worth it, even if it isn't done yet. The biggest issues with the game are when it just refuses to work (which sadly happens every once in awhile with new patches). But the game itself if fun enough to keep me coming back to it even after owning it for so long now.

7-8/10, would recommend to anyone who likes base builders, world exporation and survival games

My first review for a game and I pick HoI4, lolk

But anyways, this game is very well made, has hours of entertainment, and is all in all worth the 40 it costs (at the base price).

However, I do have a few issues with it. Now, these are probably my only real problems with the game, so don't let them deter you from purchasing it. I just felt like voicing my opinion.

The AI can be pretty freaking stupid at times, flooding small area's with troops to the point where it makes moving and fighting nearly impossible.

The super late game gets pretty boring at times, especially as an axis power trying to invade the American continent. It took me nearly a day as Fascist Spain to make a dent big enough for even half of my army. Maybe that was just me, but the game can stagnate hard at times.

Nukes are basically just there for fun. They seem to have little impact outside of destroying buildings on the tiles, but you need to have air superiority to drop them in the first place, so you can just use bombers for that. Nukes just come across as underpowered, and seem like they are barely worth my time.

My review is based soley off of single player experience, as all my friends are either not interested, or too poor to shell out dah cash
