Might just be my favorite game to ever exist. They got it right with BL2, which has no drawbacks, other than the two ever-present issues with all ARPGS/looters. The enemy recycling and massive grinding. Those two aren't really issues because we can't expect a game to have a thousand different enemy types, it's unrealistic for development and cost-prohibitive. The grinding is, well, part of the fun. Aside from that, BL2 is probably perfect.

Standard CoD fare but worse in most aspects.

Terrible UI (it is unequivocally disgusting), terrible font choices, terrible color palette choices, terrible maps (unfathomably garbage), terrible player mechanics (dive/prone/mounting), SBMM (let's be real, stomping the Christmas kids was the highlight of CoD), a lot of hot garbage when it comes to gun balancing and firefights, terrible maps (bears repeating). Anyway, you get the jist.

You know exactly what you're getting yourself into with an IW CoD, they haven't produced a single viable game in a decade. Here's to hoping Treyarch can bring back some classic CoD game-play from the likes of the BO1 era, enough of the tripe.

Bugs aside (because who cares - they happen), Cyberpunk 2077 is almost addicting and fun. Almost.

The game needed some major changes pre-launch which cannot be overhauled and fixed at this point. Changes such as actual in-game story telling scenarios and choices which affect the world around you. Lasting impact from said choices instead of them ending in-quest and not affecting a single entity otherwise. A better character background story and system where V isn't just some adapt-to-everything cybernetic goober with no real personality or feelings attached.

The game play itself is fun enough aside from some minor annoyances and one extremely annoying habit of CDPR. The game "balance" seems to be missing entirely, something not surprising due to the studio that developed it. V becomes a powerhouse tank, an unstoppable force, a literal walking God before the mid-point of the game. Hacking is extremely decimating to all areas and enemies in this game. Gun play isn't hard so much as it can be annoying. Crouch -> aim shoot -> oh everything is dead now. Enemy AI is pretty rough and has yet to be redeemed. Speaking of gun play...the ridiculous nerfs to end-game content weapons is bewildering and rage-inducing. I'm talking about things like removing Skippys ONE GOOD FEATURE; his auto-level to match your character's. Removing the Overwatches wall piercing ability. Weakening enemies who use fists and specifically the Beat on the Brat quest line. NONE OF THIS MADE ANY SENSE, YOU'RE A TERRIBLE BALANCING TEAM, YOU SHOULD FEEL BAD, AND I HOPE YOU HAVE PERPETUAL NIGHTMARES.

Anyway, overall the game is fun but has extremely low replayability due to the ease of the game, the boring gun play, the overpowered hacking, the nauseating side-quests like NCPD scanners and gigs. Blah blah.

I liked it, I played it a lot, will attempt to 100% the achievements, and likely will never touch it again. It could have been an amazing piece of art, a cornerstone in story telling, animation, world-building, etc, but it wasn't, isn't, and never will be at this point.

The world itself is quite beautiful and fun to explore, except there needed to be some revisions done before release. There absolutely needs to be a vast addition of spirit springs for torrent. Torrent, by the by, has awful mechanics and control - literal dog ****. There needed to be more originality in the offshoot areas of the world. Copy and paste dungeons, bosses, and monsters throughout the entire game. Enemies where they make zero sense. Why are there basic soldiers in the Haligtree? Revenants? Crystalians? None of that makes any sense. The amount of reused bosses in the copy and pasted dungeons is absurd, zero originality. The difficulty spike in some of these enemies is also stupid, like the War-dead Catacombs which can be accessed directly after beating Radahn. The difficulty spike for that area makes no sense and the boss is another reused avatar. Boring.

The mechanics feel almost worse than DS 3 at times and button pushes sometimes fail to articulate. The boss fights are the worst part of this game. Some of their designs are really cool and slick as hell (like Malenia) but their move set is unfathomably stupid. This entire game rests on the dodge -> dodge -> dodge -> dodge -> wait for 3 second punishment window -> punish -> repeat ad nauseam. Then you also have bosses which pull out entire teleportation moves around a huge arena (Placidusax, Astel, Regal spirit, etc). It is not fun, it is annoying and boring.

Overall, terrible game to add into the playlist from From. Play it if you like typical Soulsborne style combat, otherwise, don't waste ya time or money. Nothing outside of that is worth it, and even then, the combat does not feel great.

Dank Soulzz is a fantastic series, period. DS1 is the best. DS2 is my favorite. DS3 is the most fluid, probably has the hardest bosses, the least easy to cheese, and is overall fantastic as well. Also the one that let me down the most, to be honest.

DS1 Remastered is good but it does not add much to the experience. That being said, it is DS1, it is fantastic, you should play it. The map connectivity, the game play and story progression, the atmosphere, everything about DS1 is superb. The menu feels like a let down now because of the advancements of DS2/3. Just take it in stride and realize this was the first iteration.

One of the FInal Fantasy games that I keep coming back to for more. Though not my favorite of the series, it has really good replay value. This port is actually really nice now that the sound is fixed, and they corrected a bunch of the translation errors. Really cleaned the dialogue up.
