The most deserving a game has ever been of a "Game of the Year" title in many many years.

It's equal parts weird and amazing how attached you get to the characters in this game.

Everything Supergiant Games touches is pure gold, and this is no different. One of the best Rogulites out there with great narrative design and art direction.

Not really that "metroidvania-y", but a great and intense rogue-like.

The step from 2D to 3D works surprisingly well. The game still has the "Risk of Rain" feel to it, at least gameplay wise. However, it has lost the desolate atmosphere that the first game had. Regardless, it's worth every cent even in Early Access.

A fun little casual game that's like a mix between robot unicorn attack and ikaruga (but more colors!).

Pros:
+ Great atmosphere.
+ Engaging world.
+ Fun character design.
+ Choice of gameplay style.
+ Classic Metroidvania style game.

Cons:
- Combat is very simple.

This game is amazing. It takes everything that made the first one good (old school dungeon RPG, (subjectively) fun combat, immersive world, great graphics) and just added more to it. LoG2 has outdoors environments that still work with the gridbased movement, more verticality and just overall more immersive and fun.

Best worst game you'll ever wish you didn't start playing.

Great simple game with a strong message. Recommended for anyone that wants to know more about the history of Iran.
