Gifted Word: Awakening

I wouldn’t exactly call these little experiences “games” in the traditional sense, but that’s what makes them special. They’re more like interactive psychological journeys, uniquely atmospheric and thought-provoking. Each one gently nudges you to explore the deeper corners of your mind and reflect on your inner self.

The soundtracks are Epic. They elevate the mood perfectly and stay with you long after the experience ends.

I’ll admit it... I hadn’t touched Euro Truck Simulator 2 in a while. But when I saw they dropped the Greece DLC, I couldn’t resist. And wow, was it worth firing up the ol’ rig again! ETS2 didn’t just remind me why I loved it in the first place, it gave me the full Greek trucking experience.

The AI drivers in this game? They’re not AI anymore. They’re koutsoura (stubborn logs) with a driver’s license. Tailgating me like I owe them toll money, overtaking on blind corners with the grace of a souvlaki spinning on a stick, and stopping randomly in the middle of the road, this DLC has brought the chaotic beauty of Greek roads to life. It’s so real, I kept checking my mirrors to see if a family of goats was about to cross.

And oh, the joy of finally driving like a proper Greek trucker. Speed limits? Just decorative signs to match the scenery. Lane markings? Merely friendly suggestions. Traffic rules? Suggestions from the EU we politely ignore. I’ve been tailgating cars for miles and swerving around roundabouts like I’m late for a coffee at the kafenio. It’s beautiful chaos.

The landscapes are breathtaking, but let’s be honest—I’m too busy trying to keep the AI drivers from stealing my cargo or my will to live. And yet, I love every minute of it. The Greece DLC brought me back to ETS2, but this chaotic authenticity is why I’ll stay. 12/10, would let AI drivers nearly run me off a cliff again.

Disclaimer: Yes, I’m Greek. And yes, this review is a lovingly exaggerated tribute to our unique driving habits. Please don't tailgate me IRL... unless you're bringing souvlaki.

Ah, Greece! The land of souvlaki, sunny beaches, and now—chaotic, lawless trucking mayhem! ETS2's Greece DLC has truly captured the spirit of Greek roads. From the moment I set my tires on Greek soil, I knew I wasn’t just hauling cargo; I was hauling my sanity.

The AI drivers in this DLC deserve an award for their realism. Did I say realism? Sorry, I meant recklessness. Tailgating me with the precision of an Olympic sprinter, cutting me off like they’re late for a wedding, and overtaking me in blind curves—they’re not just bad drivers, they’re authentic Greek drivers! I half expect them to roll down the window and yell "Ela re malaka!" as they speed past.

Finally, the game lets me be the Greek trucker I was born to be. Speed limits? A suggestion, really. Lane discipline? Pfft, lanes are for tourists. I found myself tailgating compact cars like it was a national sport, swerving around traffic circles like I own the place, and ignoring traffic lights like they owe me money. It’s cathartic. It's chaos. It's perfect.

And let's talk about speed limits—no one looks at those in Greece anyway, and this DLC lets me honor that fine tradition. 50 km/h zone? More like a polite way to say "floor it."

Overall, this DLC is a masterpiece. If you’ve ever dreamed of being a Greek trucker, defying rules and common sense while taking in breathtaking landscapes, this is your moment. 11/10—AI drivers nearly crashed into me while I wrote this review. Bravo, SCS Software!

Secret Word: Justice

What an amazing little gem, not a game, not a novel, it is its own genre.

Following the release of phasmo almost no horror coop games managed to draw enough attention.
This game looks promising enough to accomplish this.

Played the demo for many hours. Excited for this release.
Very promising game, stands out between all the generic horror coop games.

I'm not saying it's a "phasmo killer". I'm not even going to compare it to phasmo.

It has character, it has the graphics, it has the gameplay, it has the atmosphere and it has the mechanics to just make coop mode fun, which is the most important factor.
Hopefully it also has a developer that actually listens to the community and act accordingly.
I believe the game success will be heavily impacted by the dev choices, and it looks like they are actively engaged in the community so that's a very positive thing.
I love where the game is going. This is the time we need to support the game and make it stand out.

What I would personally like to see in the future:

Different outcomes and/or events during and following excorism. Make the excorism can feel more intense.

More ghost activity events that do not repeat in a loop and not at the same location. After playing for some time you will already know all of the events and will not be surprised anymore. Also events could change according to ghost type. From what i've noticed during demo, if you play long enough you will eventually loop through almost all of the random ghost events.

Dynamic events - e.g. force players to split - lock someone alone in a room and force them to witness an event. Based on their action subsequent events might change and might even result in their death.

Those are just some brainstorming ideas, already love the game as it is and will support it.

It may has its bug, but I love it so far. It needs a lot of balancing but looks promising.

Sadness Simulator 2016

Blind Trust indeed.
You trust the game that you will be able to play online, run the game with excitement just to find out you can only play LAN and to be reminded that you have no friends.

Would work great with VR or a Kinect that would enable online mode once it detected your crying.
Could start new viral videos of face reactions upon finding out you can't play online.

I rarely write reviews, but this game deserves it.
Master Reboot is a hybrid masterpiece combining elements of adventure, horror and mystery games.
Considering it's an indie game i'd say the devs put alot of effort in this game and makes me think what they could develop with more budget.
Oh, wait! I can see that on their new game "Soul Axiom" which sets the surreal environment and awesomeness of the game on a whole new level. Also the graphics match those of an AAA game. But enough with that, this is a review about Master Reboot!

This game has an immense storyline which you have lots of things to explore if you like giving attention to details.
You might be confused or feeling lost at first but giving attention to the cutscenes and clues found, you will feel like you're reading a very well written book. If you're looking for a casual game and not like paying attention this game is probably not for you, you will not understand anything about the story.
Everything makes sense eventually and oh, its goooood.

The environment of this game is awesome, most sceneries are surreal and the ambient sounds make the mystery atmosphere even better.
Most of the puzzles are great, actually I believe it's the way puzzles in games are supposed to be these days. Some of them are too easy, but most of them are clever and you can complete them pretty fast once you get them.
This game is about exploring, solving puzzles, finding items and how to use the and avoiding dangers. You won't be finding yourself shooting at stuff
Well, unless some fake ducks with a fake gun
Also, this game has several scenes that might make your heart beat quite faster, so i wouldn't suggest this to the weak hearted.

If you like indie and/or horror/mystery/atmospheric games , this is one of the best games I could suggest.
Actually it's the best, because the devs are awesome. They always pay attention to the community and care about what we want. Also from personal experience I had a problem with my steam key and they helped me almost instantly after I mailed them, with a very polite and friendly way. Cheers to the devs.

Last but certainly not least,
The ending song is awesome! Seriously, if you re a bit emotional it could give you tears.

So.. synopis:

✔ Mystery/horror atmosphere
✔ Immense, well written storyline (that however requires for you to explore, you wont get it only from cutscenes)
✔ Great graphics for an indie game
✔ Very well optimised
✔ Awesome devs
AWESOME ending song!

So after playing this game for quite some time and giving it a chance by finishing it i got 2 conclusions:

1) The reviewers giving it a bad review don't have a clue what they're talking about and they don't care about the genre of the game. Probably teenagers or people hating adventure/indie games.

2) This is a great game in all aspects. I agree it's getting a little frustrating at times and it that it has its bugs, but hey, which adventure game didn't have these things?
You have to keep in mind that this is a free game (surprisingly), and it gives you the chance to spend some hours gaming happily (if you like the genre).

This game is a hybrid of adventure/indie/mystery games. And the voice acting is awesome despite the bad comments i've been seeing around. Reminds me a bit of myst combined with the craziness of stanley parable.

I strongly suggest this game if you 're into mystery/atmospheric games and like playing through a story.

---UPDATE----
I'm sorry if I offended a general group of people, certainly wasn't aiming for that.
About the teenagers part, i said "probably" and what I was trying to say is that a big percent of the teenagers can't appreciate this game properly, hence the bad reviews about things in this game i found prety interesting and amazing. I never said this game is perfect or doesnt have problems, i just recommended it and found the devs work really good for a free indie game.
About the incoherent jumbled mess of the story,I just love how abstract this game is, it draws you in and u have to think on your own what the hell is going on, just like reading a well-written book.
In the forums you can find alot of very logical and good explanations regarding the story, that make sense.
