After pouring half my life away into the Vita version I can now live the rest of my life playing on PC!

Need more.

40 minutes is all it took for me to refund this game.

Bought it as part of a sale, looked like a really nice game. Managed to get through the tutorial, but encountered Fatal Errors every time I tried to start a battle in story mode (after slogging through the completely overwritten dialogue). Not interested in multiplayer (if it exists) or other modes.

Heck, the volume slider is only for the main menu and not in game.

I'd recommend you stay away, doesn't look like the new devs are in the slightest bit interested in fixing this game.

2/10 - just for the cute characters.

Just buy the original port and use mods.

No widescreen options so annoying black bars, 15fps in cutscenes and battle. Some updated sprites but that's about all.

Not worth it IMO.

This game can be one hell of a grind, but the story really makes it pay off.

Trials and dungeons are fun and unique. Mechanics can be frustrating but great when you've learnt them.

I've played enough of this to recommend it.

9/10 (minus a point for Squenix support)

Finally, a Total War game that is actually optimised!

Really enjoying the campaign so far, and as Total War games go; it's fairly intuitive for those who are new to the series.

One hit KO'd a monster, got a 4 star battle rating.

Nice.

What a magnificent journey.

Gorgeous environments, fantastic story and well voiced dialogue. Add that to the fantastic music and combat system and this is easily one of the best classic RPGs out there to date.

Just one tip, don't be scared to reload previous saves. Mistakes will happen.

THIS IS NOT YOUR TYPICAL SOULS GAME!!!

You are expected to parry, a lot. So learn the mechanics.

It's like having a Tamagotchi, except they're hot girls and you don't have to worry about them dying.

Mucho recommendo.
