Played through the prolog and the beginning of Act 1 and so far this game was a blast. Really interesting setting, concepts and overall story so far. I actually really really like this game ngl, I hope it stays that way.

So far it's great, the game design is really aimed at improving the players experience. Gameplay-wise this feels like the beautiful child of Final Fantasy and Souls Games

Very refreshing, feels like Souls and Diablo combined as a less ADHD ridden POE.

Awesome af. It feels like the perfect crossover between Frostpunk 1 and Civilization, which was something I felt like would go well together, when I played Frostpunk 1. Now that I got Frostpunk 2 I have to say, that ♥♥♥♥ works and really fits well.

BUT, if you are expecting a straight sequel to Frostpunk 1 in terms of gameplay elements and the overall vibe, you might not like it. It's honestly like a completely new and different game, even tho there are still a lot of similarities, they don't feel similar at all.

Also: DEMOCRACY & ANXIETY SIMULATOR! Where the first game felt like you were constantly switching between a relatively relaxed mindset to a heavily anxious one over and over, Frostpunk 2 just keeps you in a neverending state of anxiety. You just kind of get numb after a while, just like that meme with the dog next to a coffee mug, on a table, in a burning house, saying: "This is fine"

10/10 would recommend, unless you prefer feeling comfortably in control in a game

Now that Sony pulled back on their BS account linking I would love to recommend this game, but they haven't removed the purchase restrictions in countries that don't have PSN.

Forever a classic you just have to give a shot!

Bought it the day it released and me and a friend took 1 week off and spent the whole 11 days playing elden ring non stop from waking up to falling asleep, while 420 blazing the whole time throughout ;D
