Genuinely a great game, once you get past the learning curve of all the items, stats, and gameplay loop its incredible. Ignore all the negative reviews even talking about "f2p". The game was never free to play, this is a demo.

On release, a full 36 hours of content (early access) many games struggle with putting out this much quality content

Great game, poorish performance

RAMPANT WALLHACK/AIMBOT. This game was fun. WAS. It's starting to look like Tarkov when it comes to cheaters. I have a over 1000 hours and a good 2+ K/D. I know when someone is cheating or just a good player.

Personally in about 4 hours of play I would encounter at least one blatant aimbotter who just straight up kills you start of the match. What more with people who just use ESP/silent aim?

Unfortunately, Crytek has decided to block the YouTube link referenced above in their discord for "privacy issues". Privacy issues for cheaters you mean? The official Hunt showdown discord outright bans you if you talk about the cheating issue, and in Reddit they just made a mega thread for cheating complaints to make it seem like people don't complain every day.

The community managers and developers are ACTIVELY suppressing cheating complaints. Do not spend a single dime on this developer/publisher/game until they have fully addressed the issue.

All this, while they release new DLC? Disgusting.

Still one of the best RTS game around. Not only does it have great depth, but also some of the best visuals these days.

playable for a couple of hours

Honestly its an amazing game. I got it because I generally like the Ace Combat series. The campaign delivers well as usual. Most of the negative reviews are really about its support for joysticks or other controllers. I can play the game perfectly fine with keyboard and mouse.

This game is embarrassing to have on the steam store.
