It's peak I'm afraid.

Skill issue crowd complain they can't light attack spam to win every fight and refuse to learn the game.

Valheim would've been a good game, if Iron gate actually went and capitalized on the games success 3 years ago.

it takes them 7-12 months to add new content to the game (No. hotfixes are not content.)

they conflate tedium with difficulty where every small accomplishment feels meaningless with the amount of effort that needs to be put into, *Cough* *Cough* 20 leather scrap workbench upgrade where boars only drop 1 unless they are a higher star level.

Basic quality of life like more inventory space, converting deer hide to leather scraps or crafting from chests have yet to be implemented despite them being requested for a long time.

etc. etc, there's plenty of other reviews that share my gripes with the game.

Do yourself a favor, save your 20$ and spend it on a game that doesn't use early access as an excuse to justify year long content droughts.

For 20$ i can double the mod capacity of 20 different characters in Warframe. the same amount of money let's me double the mod capacity of 1 character in this game. This is a cash shop with a moderately entertaining game attached.

I wish there was a medium between Recommend and don't Recommend.

It's pretty much Vermintide 2 with a new coat of paint and by the Emperor the cracks are showing.

The Gameplay is pretty much the same from VT2 but with more gunplay.

The way you choose maps is mind-bogglingly stupid, having to wait for existing missions to expire just for them to show up again at the exact same difficulty is asinine, let me pick the mission i want at the difficulty i want.

The penances (aka challenges) are either so easy you complete them without thinking about it. to downright needing to sabotage your own team to finish them. And with the 1.4 update a few of the challenges are just straight up broken due to massive oversights.

Certain Special enemies having zero audio cues to make you aware of their presence is such a nonsensical change from VT2's specials whom all had their own unique audio cue

The cash shop is downright insulting because (1) it was added just after the game released (which was arguably the worst state the game was in at the time) and (2) right now, Xbox players getting 40-80$ worth of aquilas if they buy the base/Imperials editions of the game. while PC/Steam users who buy the imperial edition get barely enough to buy one cosmetic bundle.

The game itself is fine, just a pretty big downgrade compared to Vermintide 2, which is not saying much.
