Out of the base building style games I've played, I've enjoyed this one the most.

This is a game I've been wanting for years. It is a realistic medieval game.
Combat is difficult and you can easily die even at higher skill levels. It has lots of little details that I enjoy. You need to bathe or people might not want to talk to you, you need to learn to read, alchemy is complex, and you even should take your armor off before going to sleep.
I enjoyed the story as well and wish it continued on past the ending.
