TLDR:
- Plays great with many play styles
- Fair monetization
- Nice community
- Amazing price for what you get in the base game

It's a very story driven MMO and I love it. It has many stories and characters that make this feel like another Elder Scrolls experience. The player base has been fairly friendly and it's great to be fighting a tough boss and have a few wandering strangers join into the fight to help out. The game has many skills and perks to make each character you play feel different enough to warrant playing through multiple times. Plus the PVP is probably one of my favorite MMO PVPs I've played. The crafting and alchemy systems feel fleshed out and make me wanna hunt for more materials so I can make another weapon that is just that much stronger. The payment model is pretty fair for the most part, while it is 15$ a month(cheaper in bulk) you do get the in-game currency which can be used for the dlc missions and cosmetics. ESO+ is really nice because you can get access to all DLC(Except for the most current expansion) and get an infinite sized material bag which helps the load of being a crafter. This game has come a long way and for the price is most definitely worth the price, especially when it is on sale for 10$ like it always is.

I love this game! The freedom it offers is on par with greats like Deus Ex, and System Shock 2. The atmosphere had me on edge the whole game, with the feeling that the next door or cornor could get me killed. The game has very little ammo and resources, so you makes you have to make an off the wall plan on a whim.

A great example of a moment is when I was being hunted, I ended up getting cornered in a bathroom. The Typhon was about to come in, I had no ammo and only my gloo cannon. I went into a stall and closed the door. While it was searching I noticed that the stalls didn't reach the roof with the walls, so there was a small space that you could squeeze through. I made a platform ladder with the gloo cannon, and climbed up and escaped before the Typhon realized I was gone.

Moments like that is what makes the game feel organic in the gameplay.

It was the best sleeper hit of 2017 and 2018 with the new DLC looking pretty good!

Great game for poker lovers, and I trust these devs to deliver more content in the future just like Sports Bar was like. I already am having so much fun with the people here, the community seems chill and fun to hang with.

This game even after buying it for the 5th time, THIS is the version to get. I have never been so immersed in a VR game. The sword play is fun (Though I did have to decrease the sensitivty on the swing threshold) as well as the shield play. The Bow and arrow is great, though it can act up on occassion making a couple shots miss randomly. The magic is also super fun and feels like a seperate game either way you play it. The graphics are also pretty good when looking through a current gen headset(Though I could imagine that if a second gen headset was used it may look a little washed out). All in all the game is super immserive and is an amazing experiance when you get it just right, a dragon fight has never been so fun.

Cuphead is definitely hard, but does that make it good automatically?

This game is a marvel to look at, without a doubt. The music is nice fun and very catchy. The run and gun levels can be fun, but have some issues, which I'll explain in a moment. I do feel the run and gun levels are a little forced, which might be because of how the game was orginally just a boss rush game. Though it adds more content, it kinda feels shoehorned in.

So the game's gunning mechanic is great, the lock-on mechanic is a great feature to have. This allows aiming without having to run, games like Contra or Metal Slug could do with this feature. Now the part I had the most issues with. The parry. The game controls fine, the character is nice and responsive, but the parry feels kinda off. Which with a game that demands perfection, to have a mechanic feel off is a bad thing, killing the player with deaths that feel like "Oh come on! I hit them though!". I also have to admit the super second fire feels too weak. It refills fast... but it doesn't do a whole lot. Making something that looks like a lot of power, which should make the player feel great, feels like it was a waste of time. I've even died because of the super water blast which makes you freeze in the spot (on the ground or in air) and forces you to blast them, then drops you with no invulnerability frames, thus you get hit. So the game just feels like you need to run, dash, and shoot. The parry and super abilities just feel kinda broken.

Now the bosses, the bosses are fun to play... after you've played them a few times. Now I will say I have beaten a couple bosses first try, one of which I did a perfect on the first try. The bosses have many phases and are a blast to fight. Though I did have some moments that I said "Wow, really!? They can do that, where's the warning!?". So it's a trial and error kinda thing, which is fine especially since the bosses are just there own thing, and you don't need to do a level before the fight. The rating system after each level is kinda nice, it doesn't seem too necessary, but is still nice to have for replay value.

In conclusion the game is a challenge and is a wonderful looking game. I do feel like it still needs some polish, but I think that otherwise it is a great game. I wouldn't recommend this for people who can't handle a challenge, because it really needs perfection to beat. So if I were to score it, with some score. I would call it an 8/10. Though not perfect, it has a lot of great features and a lot of fun to have.
