Today I want to tell you about a miraculous week...
Actually, it was not planned, but after I fell asleep on a train trip and landed in a remote village, I had to spend there willy-nilly a few nights until the next train goes home. During this time I got to know and love the place and the people and now I don't want to leave but build a new life there.

During a long train ride I unfortunately fell asleep and woke up again in a strange city. Since it was the end of the line, I got off and made my way to the small town that sits on the edge of a forest.
Arriving at the town square, I went to the resident hotel and got a place to sleep from the nice manager, Oma. That evening I also met Moss, the manager of the market in this little town.

I went to my room and fell asleep immediately, even though it was only a transitional room.

I set out to explore the city a bit. Since the train wouldn't be leaving for a few days anyway, I figured I might as well get to know the city a little better. I met Sally, who was in charge of repairs and new purchases in town. Sally showed me around the workshop. It is called crafting when you make something new from materials. We repaired two benches for the town and then I got to put them wherever I wanted. I also got to meet a few residents and did a small job for them right away. For that I got a great shirt as a gift which I wear until today.

I got an axe from Moss to chop wood and to prove myself at the crafting table. I built a bridge and got access to another part of the city that I couldn't reach before because of the river. I immediately beautified the city by sowing flowers. They will surely blossom soon, I'm looking forward to it.
I explored the beach and received a fishing rod from a resident. We are now fishing together. If I catch a big or rare fish, I even get a reward.

Today I bought a pickaxe in Moss's store. Since there are so many stones standing around everywhere, I thought I should clean up a bit. I'm sure I can use the stones I've collected at the crafting table.
This day was also special because Sally introduced me to designing new objects. For this you use the design board in the workshop and can create your own objects based on blueprints or edit existing objects.
In the evening, when I wanted to go to my room, Oma had a visitor and introduced me to Rosa, who wants to open a new store in town. The construction is supposed to start tomorrow.

Today I built a ramp to get over the ledge in town and into the mountains. It didn't work right at first, but after a bit of trial and error, I managed to build a suitable ramp. I explored the mountains and saw that another bridge was needed here to get further. In the other direction was something like a mine shaft. However, it was blocked by rocks that I could not carry away.
Back in town I bought a landing net and started catching butterflies. Of course I didn't want to hurt them, but they looked so beautiful that I wanted to see them up close.
The flowers I had sown had now blossomed and I was able to pick some to make flower pots on them for the city. Now the marketplace looks even more beautiful.

I took a bridge for the mountain path today. It worked right away and I was happy to discover a pond behind the next corner. I fished a little bit and caught a tadpole.

Rosa's store opened today, I wonder what it's all about? I went right in and we talked a bit. It looks like I can build houses now. I wonder if I can build one for myself.
In the evening I met again someone in the hotel who wants to open a business. I am already very excited about it.

After this week I realized that I don't want to go back to my old life at all. I want to stay in this city and help my new friends crafting, building houses and beautifying the city. Next I will try to uncover the mine and build my own house.

I'm very excited to see how the city will develop and I am proud to be part of it from the very beginning.
