Squad has some pretty good and challenging gameplay and is a fantastic tactical game. Its downfall is entirely in its community. Even the most obnoxious ArmA mislims arent as obnoxious or elitist as the majority of squad clans running public servers. They hate new players and will waste no time either banning you or harassing you for the simplest of things such as having fun or attempting to learn the game. Ive literally had a clan harass me and threaten to ban me because i was going to respawn and wait for a rally to redeploy instead of run the 5 minutes from main base to the cap point they then continued to harass me the rest of the game. Bad clans arent an exception in squad they are the rule. The game can be good fun but on the vast majority of servers just isnt.
