Undead Labs has spent almost 6 years adding fresh new content to the rotting hordes of undead. I played the original on xbox long ago and have played and replayed State of Decay 2 many times on several difficulties. This game really hits all the checkboxes. Scavenging, survival, community management, lovely bluegrass and intense combat tracks, the combat feels good, the visuals still hold up, I could go on and on. But with this final update, #38, I just wanted to give my thumbs-up of approval and wish Undead Labs best of luck with State of Decay 3!

A charming and clever tactics game. The visuals are stylish, the music and sound effects weighty, The characters are all very well written and as the tone of the story shifted and the gravity of their situation became apparent I found myself caring about these individuals and their world. I suppose that is the mark of a truly impactful experience. I hope this small dev team is proud of what they have created, and I hope you try out Tactical Breach Wizards if you enjoy strategy, magic, puzzles, and perhaps feeling a little emotional.

Fast-paced arcade tank combat game, absolutely leans into the memes and tropes of the genre but still provides a good challenge. Frequently updated with new vehicles. Every point is the D point!

The gunplay of F.E.A.R., the movement of DOOM, the world-building of Half-Life, the atmosphere of ODST, and the music of Selaco. This is one of the best shooters I've ever played. It reminded me of my time as a younger man playing through Half-Life or Halo.. I wish nothing but the best for this small dev team and can't wait for Episode 2!!

Despite everything and the SONY EULA dustup, this game is always a good time to play with pals! Bots, bugs, or [REDACTED], we'll face em all together, divers!

All that time I thought I was fighting to save Tahnra, but in the end I realized I had done it all to honor little Zorro.

Symphony of War took me right back to those years oh so long ago, where I spent afternoons watching my big brother play Ogre Battle 64 in our loft area upstairs. While it is not a real-time strategy, playing with turn-based player phases and a grid system more akin to FFTactics/Wargroove/Advance Wars, this game is absolutely an homage to the difficult tactics games of old. I strongly reccommend it. What a wonderful thing to receive as a holiday gift.

It is 9:06am, the round has only started two minutes ago. I broke off from my team as they headed into the facility because I saw two beehives. Without them knowing, I grabbed the first hive and dropped it inside our ship next to the control panel. I returned and grabbed the second hive, but was stung to death at the door of the ship, dropping the second hive in plain view of anyone returning. The bees return to their hives and settle in to their new home. My friends do not know I am dead. The round goes by, and one by one my friends come back to the ship, see the hive at the door make a mad dash past the hive, and then let out a voice-activated scream of realization as the second hive wakes up and stings them to death. Nobody survived, everyone laughed. Great game, 10/10 will keep playing and screaming with friends!

Halo was never gone. It was just missing in action. Welcome back.
