I don’t normally write reviews but after spending many many hours in pre-release testing and then a few more hours with the EA build, I feel the need to encourage people not to sleep on this game.

It’s an RPG that shares DNA with The Elder Scrolls and Mount & Blade, and action games like Dragon's Dogma.

The exploration is fun, the world (and its lore) is interesting, and the combat offers so many options even after killing my 1000th goblin, it never felt stale.

It is an EA title and development is being handled by a solo developer so bugs and performance issues should be expected but, in my experience through pre-release testing the developer has been super responsive to addressing bugs when they’re identified and open to feedback on feature changes/balance/etc so where I normally feel cautious and wary of EA titles, I think this one is an exception to the rule and you should absolutely take a chance on it.

Be a viking, build a longhouse, catch some fish, slay some gods, be watched by Odin(?).

This is one of the best early access games I've ever played.
