Yeah i don't know what the other reviewers are saying about input lag. I put it difficulty to "Hard" and found the timing to be just right.

10/10 Nostalgia with actual re-done assets.

9/10 and a hidden gem

An old style game that does it right. Pacing is all within the player exploring the world and does not hold your hand in the early game. Monsters are difficult and challenging but not unfair. If you can't succeed, retreat and come back another time when you're stronger. Sound design, music, UI, lighting, setting, and character dialogue make for an immersive experience; which is surprising given it's pixel style.

Given the time put into playing the game with its immersive experience mentioned above: lore, exploration, combat, and stories are all the more gratifying as your choices play a huge part of how you want your character to be remembered.

I played it nonstop till I finished it and I do not regret it.

My god. Divinity Original Sin 2 is the closest game you will get to D&D. You will miss 95% hit percentages, smash your desk and ♥♥♥♥ your pants when you land a nutty crit that saves the fight. There is nothing more whimsical than the dialogue provided that brings out the life Larian scultped into the characters to voice with perfection. Especially when your cheeky co-partner pisses off NPCs or ♥♥♥♥♥ with them. The game itself is magical to behold in its lighting, particles, and model detail. Everything feels so consistent with the world until you step into the wrong neighborhood and see monsters, crazed worshipers and god-ridden beings. Yet, it oddly fits. Larian made a world worth exploring every bit and part of and more with reruns taking different paths and classes. Even after you exhausted all you can from the base game, there is the Steam Workshop mods that make the game's replayability neigh endless.

First game that made me stay up 24 hours playing. Truly a refreshing and magical experience. You can clearly tell that the story and side quests have been made with love and care. The only wall to get over is the abysmal pacing in the beginning and lack of enemy creativity. Most regions will have the same mobs copied and pasted making encounters bland. The game also throws trivial discrepancies in sustaining your health with arcana poisoning from healing magic making the beginning hard to hold your footing. Though in my experience I overlooked that from SureAI's overhaul of leveling and world building. You will come to appreciate the level of detail SureAI executed in painting Enderal. Enderal's world detail, city depth, and dungeon bosses is what I want more RPG titles to integrate. It is entirely a standalone game from Skyrim in its atmosphere, depth of combat, and world design that is worth anyone's time that enjoyed Skyrim.

What are you doing looking through the reviews to see if Stardew Valley is worth playing? You already know its a therapeutic game from whatever masochistic competitive game you've been playing recently. If you have time to waste looking through the reviews just play it. You won't be disappointed.

There is no right move to make. Just blast hell spawns to the beat and don't get hit. However you want to do it is up to you with the massive arsenal Hel provides you. High sense of risk and reward from the decision to make actions permissible to the beat of the music. The music alone is enough to immerse your soul to believe its ripping hell spawns apart. Only problem is the balance of items. Some are just copy pasted with an added perk. A re-balance and change to items can make this a one of a kind masterpiece truly worth its metal in replayability.

Music hits different when you're looking at a useless hand. You get a sense that you are going to perish or become an unstoppable aberration slayer from the first couple of encounters. It's story progression is very similar to Hades in that death is the only way to progress. Keep dying, keep growing stronger. Game is a slow burn at first but ramps to be one of the most immersive card games out there with a stunning ominous atmosphere, gripping characters arcs, and stellar voice acting. Easily one of my favorite roguelike card title.

Absolutely astonishing 10/10

Anyone mildly interested or obsessed with Greek/Roman mythology will find Supergiant's creative take on their rouge like both refreshing and fulfilling. I'm surprised there is so much content for an early access game. From just playing 5.4 hours I realize there's so much to progress unlocking lore, modding yourself, and upgrading weapons. The story itself and character interactions is to cherish as everyone is fitted to their perfect voice and personality of their godhood. The combat is fluid, clean, and customization is fulfilling as the Gods grant you their special blessings to make every run feel unique. The music suits the grim yet welcoming atmosphere Hell gives you. You will die a lot and that is normal until you finally beat the game. Until you do there is still so much more to unlock and obtain as late game rewards are abundant.

Early Access Review
I remember being so exited when I first saw news of Risk of Rain 2's early development in 2017. I thoroughly enjoyed the first game feeling like a God mowing mobs of extra-terrestrial beings and loved the ominous lore surrounding monsters, characters, and items. RoR2 does everything better than the first and more. The simplistic, yet beautiful, art style RoR2 showcases is a blessing given its change to 3 dimensional platforming along with a nostalgic soundtrack . If you're finally getting around to buying this game the only regret you'll have is not purchasing RoR2 before March 30th, 2019 when doing so gave you an extra copy to give to friend.

On week 90, the Wolf Brigand came. My first Highwayman you get at a start of the run died right before the Wolf Boss got split in two by my OG Crusader. I named him after my best friend. After that expedition I never played on that save file again.
