I've seen a lot of comments complaining about how "there is nothing new" etc. but as someone who did not play the beta or follow the game religiously I have to say the campaign has been a blast. I'm 96h in and only got the final map left to complete the campaign. After that there's the endless workshop maps and campaigns as well; the campaign do a great job of slowly introducing you to all the monsters, tech etc. as you slowly learn the lore of the world. In short highly recommended if you like tactical games but expect to have to restart a lot!
