Bloodborne II: Electric Puppet Boogaloo

Plays just like Bloodborne with Sekiro's parry system.

The story is very well written, and gives Nier vibes.
I was blown away when I found out it was about Pinocchio, which should've been obvious. XD

About game mechanics below

You get "Rally" by blocking, and letting your health regenerate, or hitting enemies.
There's also a "Visceral" attack system, too. Which can only be done, by heavy attacking a staggered enemy.
Perfect parrying uses almost no stamina, and adds stagger damage.
Stagger damage can also break enemies weapons.

Very Nice, Great Success!!

I haven't played a game with so much soul put into it, in quite a long time... cheers Remedy, and thanks for all the fish.

This game is F💣💣💣g awesome! 🤟

There are only two negatives right now:
1. Multiplayer servers are super congested, which is expected. I haven't managed, to get into a multiplayer game yet. 🥲
2. I've seen a few little bugs, mainly getting yeeted into the air (which is fine, because you can slam into the ground with your weapon and it looks awesome 🫡) and maybe one or two instances of texture/light clipping, as well as one instance of falling through the ground. 🫨

Also yes... you do need to download and be connected to Epic's client for the multiplayer. However you don't need an Epic account.

And yes, Epic steals your info blah blah blah. I feel like every major title nowadays, has some sort of breach of privacy... unfortunately. At this point though idgaf. 😅

On the positive side of things performance is quite good! Just avoid using steam overlay for the time being.

10/10 Would kill xenos again..

It's a good game. Don't let anybody tell you otherwise.

Positives +
  • Great Atomasphere (Pun Intended).
  • Team-Oriented.
  • Positive community.
  • Pretty straightforward gameplay.
  • Upgrade system is cool.
  • Balanced melee and ranged combat.
  • You can still survive by yourself, no one enemy can take you down. Dodging really helps.
  • Runs alright, if a little slow sometimes due to explosions etc...
  • In-game purchases limited to one shop, and only cosmetics.
  • Matchmaking has been fine so far.

Negatives -
  • Some achievements don't register, or are worded weird.
  • Very limited map variety. Maybe 3 or 4 maps, most of the time you just run the same map but backwards.
  • Gets boring without friends (Unless you play Zealot, and blast metal while going ham on heretics)
  • Enemy variety is limited by difficulty level. Which makes sense in a way, but is still kind of dumb.
  • Missing some features from Vermintide 2, which is kind of silly.
Overall 7.63/10

A great spiritual successor to Thief. Love the visuals and story design, feels a lot like Bloodborne. Kind of plays a little bit like Metro 2033, in a way too. Maybe that's just me. Nonetheless, great potential and an amazing game so far. Absolutely love the inventory management, and the variety of ways you can get around in the game. 10/10 so far :)

Economy got worse than the great depression.
And... with all the players leaving it'll keep getting worse.
I used to love her... but then her soul died.
