Played hardcore, died, kept on playing, realized it was no longer hardcore mode, got depressed, created new character with new class, played again, died... repeat 4 times... Overall 10/10

Like the game quite a lot, definitely needs to be optimized. People complaining about Aliens being OP are new and dont have the basics down, people saying Mercs are far stronger than Aliens are correct. Considering the amount of risk each side carries this is whats to be expected. Personally the balance is great between the two sides.

Very good game, very good story made me cry many tears. Graphics so good I had orgasm, and very nice game.

I've played my fair share of horror games, and see a loads of movies too. I'm happily surprised by the lack of jump-scares, but rather the build up and the subtle details. Rarely have I felt such shivers down my spine. Combination of audio, visual effects and the story you pick up along the way, makes this extremely difficult to play past midnight; with lights cut out and volume at the max. Great execution of psychological horror.

If you're a WW2 fanatic, this game is just for you. They packed this game with historical moments and much more.

The learning curve is steep, and it will be difficult in the beginning. But you will get the hang of it and learn. After the first couple of hundred hours, you will be a maniac and the perfect leader. Until you realize that the game offers even more. 700 hours in and I'm still learning about the mechanics and so much more. Even my WW2 knowledge has improved.

The DLC's of this game offer hours upon hours of gameplay. But what if vanilla isn't for you? Well, the HOI4 community has that covered too, with the active modding community that produces new and exciting mods weekly. This game can be played for thousands of hours, and there will still be more gameplay in store for you.

Although if you're playing for the achievements be prepared to grind like never before. This game has some of the hardest achievements known to the gaming community.
