Cute short game with great little tunes to along with it.

Just play it. And when you play it, beat it. Great game that I will never forget. Many nights the game kept me up way later than I should've been trying to figure things out. I will say nothing more due to spoilers. Beyond worth the money.

Bought this game on sale because I liked Gundam and I thought the art style was cool. Once I played it I loved it so much I went and bought the soundtrack and art book just to support the creators. The art, music, fights, story, and characters were all amazing. I wish they could make an online game of the combat just because I feel like there is so much to be explored in playstyle with the different tools they give you to mess with in mech stats and pilot abilities. Plays more like a light novel but I highly recommend this game. Especially if its on sale. Feeling empty now that its over, I wont forget this game.

Good game, get while on sale for a throwback experience. Sev built different.

While a bit different than New Order, this solidly built upon everything The New Order did right. A great close to the story of Wolfenstein (as The Young Blood is to be avoided like the plague, it's better to end here). New characters, new interesting situations and settings, and more ways to kill Nazis.
The only downsides are the freedom chronicles being DLC, collectibles being so many in number now that they lose meaning, and a random bug that kept telling me my GPU was out of storage.
Otherwise a great ending for a great series for now. I hope they make another that comes between this and Young Blood but that is wishful thinking.

Having never played when it came out I came back to try it out and it was a breath of fresh air. Might sound like an old man complaining that games aren't like this anymore but they aren't. This is a simple, straightforward, good story, and good fun videogame.

No gimmicks. No bugs. No bs.

Replayable with extra levels, collectibles, and an entirely separate timeline to play through. Much like the franchise's old rivals Doom and Shadow Warrior would eventually follow, this is a fresh but true to roots reboot of the simple games they once were. In a world of half baked triple A games and battle royales, nothing beats a good story and killings nazis.

I want Gundam Evolution to be better than it is, it has the potential to be great, but it has many issues that cannot be ignored. I played the beta and full release for a combined 77 hours and completed both battle passes. I don't really do reviews like this but I feel the need to being it is Gundam.

Firstly are my issues with server side and how the game is handled. At release the game servers couldn't handle the player numbers, the games would crash or disconnect people regularly. This ruined games for the people that stayed and would then give leave penalties for the people who got kicked to no fault of their own. Now that issue is slightly less common but the issue is that people leave of their own will and game will be canceled due to a leaver leaving early. A minor issue I have is with some skins being locked behind a currency that you can only obtain from getting duplicates. Doing the math for the Char Zaku 2 skin you would need to get 800 common item duplicates which would be a minimum of 534 loot crates. Keep in mind you cannot buy this currency, you cannot even buy this skin for real money, you must buy coins to buy loot crates to get over 800 duplicates. I find this egregious.

Servers and rules can be changed to fix these issues but they don't fix the balance of characters, and character balance directly affects gameplay. I'll keep this brief but melee characters in general are a bit unfair, some more than others, but still overall melee/brawlers run the games if the players playing them have a brain.When a Ranged Zaku has to land every bullet without fail plus grenade to get a kill but a Barbatos can waltz in ability spam and instakill with dashes to spare I have a problem. I also have an issue with the fact that you can only unlock 2 of the 5 dlc characters without paying $41, in fact you can only get those 2 out of 5 if you pay $10 for the battle pass and earn them, without money you can only earn 1 of 5 dlc characters. Greed in videogames is played out and annoying.

Without going too far into detail these are my main problems with the game. I still think the game is worth giving a shot being that it is free. Especially if even some of these things get fixed, playing this game for free is beyond worth it. It's just that this game has glaring issues that need changing. Even though I would recommend this game for people to try, I only do so because it is free. If it had a price I wouldn't, so to reflect that and to show my discontent I have chosen to give it a thumbs down.
