I'm going to be honest with this review. Before I bought this game I thought it was stupid, I called it a running simulator, I called it over rated, i said it wasn't worth thity bucks and that it should be free to play instead. However, after playing it for a bit of time my views have completely changed. I'm also rather surprised this game has such mixed reviews. My opinion does still stand that the game is slightly over rated but so are all the tiple A titles that come out in the mainstream game market. This game is worth the thirty dollars, especially since I have made some of that money back, even my brother has actually made a ten dollar profit from selling the in game items. As for the game itself, it is extremely fun and doubles, triples, quadruples in value as you add friends and play in squads. The game mechanics have improved over time, graphics have been optomized and with two maps in rotation now the diversity is getting much better. it's very easy to get lost in playing this game and is extremely rewarding to place high in the last standing and especially to win. for those who hate on the game I'd have to say they haven't taken it for what it is, a challenge. Yes it's not easy and is slightly wonky but the concept, the game mechanics and the direction the game continues to move in is excellent and promissing. I would definetly recommend this game to anyone.

I bought the "Best Friends Forever Double Pack" for my girlfriend and myself and we absolutely love it. The double pack is an amazing deal, only adding two dollars to the regular price for an extra copy of the game. It's a perfect gift for a girlfriend/boyfriend/bestfriend and so on, at a price that is a real steal. The art style in game is simplistic and beautiful and very cute to say the least. With a pleasant and calming soundtrack and smooth yet challenging level design the game is relaxing while still making you think to progress through it. The levels and "worlds" increase in difficulty, adding twists in each world that add a new layer to the gameplay. Just make sure you and whoever you play with have good communication skills and are up for a challenge, but most of all just enjoy the game. It's much easier to progress with a cool head and by letting the rhythm of the level and the momentum of the moves you use to solve each puzzle advance you forward. I would highly recommend this game to anyone really but especially couples who like a fun challenge.

War Thunder is an excellent WWII and Post War combat game. The game detail and model detail for all the maps and vehicles is beautiful and very well done. Combat is very clean and game modes are fun, it doesn't matter which battle mode you play either. Personally I prefer to play Realistic Battles for both air and ground but there is also plenty of fun to be had playing in Arcade Battles and, for a real grind, Simulator Battle is the way to go. I would suggest this game to anyone with a passion for WWII and anyone who loves tanks or planes, and the soon to be coming navy ships. However it is important to know the game is a grind and will need a lot of hours logged to advance and master combat skills. Most of all this game is easy to hop in, sink some hours into it, play solo or with a squad of friends and have an all around good time battling it out against the enemy team or maybe just by enjoying the scenery and beauty that lies within the game.

Update, 3/21/2019: I have been playing this game for close to four years now and still enjoy it to this day. Is it perfect? No, as with any game of its type it has its flaws. However, is it fun, is there countless hours to be played, hundreds of vehicles to unlock, unique play styles that go with each vehicle and constant graphical and gameplay updates? Yes! The game is constantly improving and changing to be more diverse, more balance, more impressive and to me it has become more fun. I have seen many reviews as of late of people complaining about "Premiums have ruined the game" or that "The game is pay to win" but I have to say I disagree. While premium vehicles do exist and do provide great bonuses they are for the most part not incredibly better than there base vehicle counterparts. I have several premiums but tend to use my base vehicles more often because many times I enjoy them more thanks to the hours I have logged with them and the work I put in to ace them. Furthermore, yes, game modes do need work and core gameplay does need a facelift because the game modes have become tired and over used. This is an area that makes the game less enjoyable at times, but it is in no way close to ruining the game.

So I ask you, before you take the advice of an old player who complains of the "old days" of War Thunder and decide against the game, download it, log some hours, climb the ranks even just a little and see how you feel. I suggest to play with a friend, play with multiple, and above all learn to work with your team regardless. You will be sure to find there is much to be offered and that despite some of its downfalls it is still one of the most impressive games in its genre and that above all it is fun.

Excellent gameplay and Strategy. All fans of the Warhammer franchise who have not played its older games should buy and play through them, they will be surprised by how much fun they are. Soulstorm in particular has great factions, a vast array of weapons and characters and vehicles, excellent modability and surprisingly good graphics for its time. I would higly recommend it to any fans of topview strategy and large map multiplayer combat.

This game is amazingly, wickedly, awesome and horribly twisted and nasty. Everybody should own this game.

This is probably the most intense and realistic World War II game ever. So if you love realistic games and World War II you should definately get this game.
