Wait I already mentioned that about attacking the orbs , haha.

Don't worry about it too much because you have to go through A LOT of the Iron King DLC to get that mask. It's worth it but it's not a quick thing to do. Also to get rid of the curse orbs you attack them and they'll disappear. You have to bait Nashandra into doing something that will give you time to get rid of them though (or have a summon get rid of them). Btw whenever you get Elizabeth Mushrooms in Dark Souls 2 I would store them away for Nashandra. They can help counter the damage from the curse orbs when you're getting rid of them.

Oh damn. Yeah I would probably think that too, lol. Luckily that's not a mechanic. That would really suck if was. Idk if you've played the Iron King DLC yet but there's a mask called Hollow Skin in that DLC that has literally 1000 curse resist, which makes you immune to curse build up

If you didn't know about it I figured someone should let you know because it's really hidden and it's super useful for Nashandra if you go get it before you fight her.

Oh cool. Congrats man! Yeah those orbs are annoying as hell. Also they inflict curse build up (only for the host though so summons only have to worry about the hp drain when you get close to them). Curse doesn't kill you in Dark Souls 2 but does it make you go hollow which lowers your max hp each time.

I'm sorry you died but standing far away from Nashandra tends yo make her do that dark laser beam and I was busy trying to get rid of those life drain orbs around the boss room. For some reason the first group of life drain orbs she spawned were invisible to me.
