If you have some spare friends to kill I'd recommend picking this up. Probably not as great of a time if you are only playing against bots though. As long as you know you're purchasing a multiplayer game first, you'll be happy with your purchase.

In the short time I've played this game I've had a lot of fun and I look forward to playing it more. The graphics are charmingly simplistic and are really perfect for what this game is. It's incredibly satisfying to just sit back and try to find the best ways to connect your stations as it's so visually pleasing to watch your work come to life on screen. The more you play this game, the more you really understand it and a game about drawing lines becomes this challenge to maximize efficiency.

I don't usually write reviews, that's because I wish I had more time to come up with an in depth look into the game I'm playing to actually give it a worthy review. This game is great in my opinion, sure it has a few problems none of which are gamplay or graphic-wise (my biggest problem is with the change in the Outsider's voice but I can look past that and view the masterpiece in wake of that one flaw). The visuals are stunning to look at, the gameplay is hours of fun and the story is decent. The problem is in the game's optimizing apparently, and that's not something to look passed and say "If it worked this would be a great game!" then give it a positive review based on what you hoped the gae would be. I personally have had no performance issues, so I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. So based on my experience of the game, the game is great! I'd recommend it for sure if there was a way of knowing for sure the game worked with your computer.
Corvo's back! That's great (I haven't played as him yet), and his voice is perfect for him. The character didn't have a voice in the first game, and giving a beloved character who didn't speak in the first game a voice is always going to be risky, but I think by giving the role to the voice of Garrett from the 'Thief' series is a bonus, especially when you consider the thief games and their influence on the development of Dishonored. Our dear Emily has all grown up and you can play as her. Her abilities are interesting and differ greatly to Corvo's while still at times feeling reminicent as to make sure you're not unable to reach places as one character that you couldn't reach as the other.
There's so much negativity in these reviews, and what I personally believe to be unnecessary negativity. I haven't had a single problem with the game not working, crashing or having low frame-rates and I know I'm one of the lucky ones who hasn't had issues. I feel like I need to dilute this negativity with my own positivity to some extent. So this is a place-holder for now in hopes that one day I'll actually be able to do this game justice but there needs to be more positive out there so I'm doing my part.
If you're interested in purchasing the game... I'd have to say wait, but that doesn't mean I'm saying not to purchase. Definitely come back to this once it's been polished up a bit so you can live this experience the same way I've been fortunate enough to be able to.
