Yes, this game scratches that itch that Ark used to. HOWEVER. this game needs so fixing. Before release Devs knew you could be stunned forever by knifing someone, well, get 2 of these stupid shield guys and they get you once, you cant move, cant do anything but die. its constant with that. There is an entire host of small issues that plague this game but overall when you arent getting stunlocked its pretty fun to play.

This was an intersting take. Sad to see it go so soon. /Salute

Edit: It was fun. Now its nothing but endless menus and begging for cash. The matchmaking system is terrible and you're either beating the crap out of the other team, or getting stomped by them. theres no balance.

This game doesnt make sense. Its Almost like AoE except its Not. you cant attack other units. Why? I dont know. Trying to conquer land is the most ridiculous process ive ever seen. Some land I can grab, Others I cant. Why? No idea. Need to build a silo. How? Farm? how? can only have 3 of this and 2 of that. and 4 buildings here. I managed to grab some land, and some stupid vampire kept spawning repeatedly meanwhile all the way across the map Im getting invaded by another clan. Which clan was attacking me? Couldnt tell you. It didnt tell me WHO was attacking me just that I was being attacked. so ive got people running back and forth across the map trying to defend. this isnt worth the headache.

Tell me why I purposely sacrificed my wife just to get that Perfect shot. Jesus this game has turned me into an terrible human being. (got 1171 on the shot though)

I mean Look. This is Smite repackaged with newer and somehow worse graphics I feel like. it feels clunky and the item menu is somehow even more confusing then on OG Smite. Im not sure what the goal was here, I thought this was going to be some new version of the game like different. this is the same game. I love Smite and i mean i'll play this if i have too but I'd rather play OG Smite. it feels better.

I wanted to give this game a through amount of time before I gave it a review. I have 4 Hours into this game.

Lets start with this. My Specs are 14600K 32GB DDR5 2TB SN850x (4 of them) RTX 3080 Drivers are up to date. I dont ever, EVER have issues running games ever.
This game here, Wouldnt Load. kept crashing. Finally had to do some rigging from some obscure reddit post over 5 years old to get it to work. Now I have a battle eye issue. OK, get past that. Load into the game, Pick a server. Click join. Nothing happens. alright, close the game and reopen it. click a server, click Join. Nothing. Reboot. Open game, click server, Join. Ok. Loading. Im in. pitch black, cant see anything. fine, i'll raise the gamma. Gamma is at max. alright, I open nivida panel and raise gamma. alright I see im in the woods somewhere. no map?? alright fine, i need to make a weapon or something. How? no crafting tab, no tutorial no explanation of how the game works? thats wild. OK. I'll just wait around until daylight comes. It's here. start looking for stuff, Oh, a Pipe, nice. says its in pristine condition. equip it, here comes a zombie, hit him. ? Ok again? tf? Again? again again again again again. What is this bro I have a Solid metal pipe and this dude is clawing at me. make this make sense. google some stuff, how to make weapons and what not. find stones. ok where are the stones, somewhere. it only gets worse from here. Look I eat breath and sleep survival games. This is pretty much all I Do. This isnt a survival game this is a mess put together with no rhyme or reason behind it. Everyone says this game is all about realism. I encourage any of you to get a metal pipe and see how many hits it takes to drop someone. You cant eat raw worms in this game. you can in real life. its overly complicated and unnecessary. the controls are clunky, the combat is atrocious, the food and water drains are borderline ridiculous and the gains are full blown tarded. got servers on here with 50 some odd mods to just make this game interesting and even then its not. all the threads and guides a read say it will take some time to get into the groove. Well im at 4 hours and thats 4 hours i'll never get back because the devs of this game cant make a tutorial because this game doesnt make any sense and a tutorial would make sure you saw that in under 2 hours, so you'd ask for a refund.

so this game is fun, except its not meant for you to unlock characters without paying. to get a brand new character for 6000, you would need to max out 6 characters, do 2 weeks of challenges, and beat atleast 2 rifts HOWEVER you can just pay $20 bucks as many times as you want to buy them outright. jesus christ I hate what these companies have become.
