Well, the carrier doesn't really matter at this point. The only two networks are at&t or verison and everyone else just buys bandwidth from them. My main concern is who makes the best android based phone software. Or in other words, which phone won't start crapping out on me in three months...

narrow it down by carrier, if you still want to do that charity one, see what phones they have, then pick one that suits your needs, its not that difficult a process
