A demo of one of the most promising looking shmups I've played. The art, sprites, and animations are beautiful and stylistic, with the color palette matching the style, alongside a solid soundtrack. It gives the game a unique look and is a breath of fresh air, while having bullet visibility not be an issue in my opinion.

It features a single stage with three different weapons that work slightly differently depending on your movement. The ship feels tight and responsive with well made hitboxes. The stage, while being quite long, especially for a first stage is varied and hasn't really gotten stale after playing for score a couple times. There's a rank system that seems to increase with surviving and increasing score, which is trackable at the bottom of the screen similar to Blue Revolver. The chaining system is similar to DoDonPachi but much easier to manage, quite like ZeroRanger. You seem to earn continues which is a nice incentive for people newer to the genre to keep playing. And lives are earned through score which is always nice to see. The game borrows a lot from the hallmarks of the genre and some of the best newer shmups and it shows.

I'd say I'm an intermediate at games in this genre and I was happy to see that stage 1 kept me engaged. I'm excited to see more of the game and story when it launches.

There was once a dark time when my life had no meaning. All of my friends were playing these new triple A titles while i could hardly play anything on my eggbeater running Arch Linux. I was in a corner with nothing to do. That is, until, one day I found this gem among the sea of Steam titles. Once I've gotten my hands on this game, my life had changed completely. I hesitate to even call this a game, as it was more of an experience... a second coming, nay, THE second coming. It was absolutely amazing, so much so that I had forgotten my life in this plane of existence to fullfill my duty in the world of Clicker Heroes. Every click was an entirely new adventure for me. I had been saved, and so will you if you decide to install this title.

The most immersive game to have been released in the last millenium. Every player will lose themselves in this neverending wave of vibrant colors and stunning gameplay. It is definitely a must have for any gamer looking to have their lives given some meaning, especially at its low price tag of FREE.
